For how long have you played on CG SCP: I have been on CG SCP-RP since May 2023. I have taken breaks along the way.
Age: 31
In what country are you located?: US
Time zone: EST
Character name(s): Johnny 'Burrito' Broom
Civilian name: Cowboy Tram
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- ISD Investigator
- SCP-096
- Combat Medic
- I used to also hold External Agent whitelist but have not been active.

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- No

Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
- I am applying to be an internal security inspector because I have enjoyed investigating conflicts and resolving them in alignment with the FLC, CoC, and CoE. My experience as an ISD Operative and Investigator has motivated me to take the next step and apply to this role to contribute more to the department at a higher level. I am known for being highly detail-oriented and thorough with my investigations, and I would like to continue to bring that level of integrity and consistency to ISD while helping to strengthen our standards.

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
- My job as an investigator so far has shown me that many interactions involve some sort of conflict remediation and the rest of it is mainly listening to people. Fortunately, I am a good listener, and I pay close attention to details related to investigations. I take every relevant detail and factor into account and work strictly from facts before making any determinations. I also work on getting all sides of the story. Verifying that all evidence, witness statements, and body cam videos align with the story is crucial. I also question discrepancies and resolve them if they come up before making a conclusion. I have advocated against wrongful detentions and arrests, and ensured that individuals who should have been arrested were held accountable. I always maintain my image as an approachable individual for people to talk to if they need help and trust that I will help through the whole process. Some people see ISD as unapproachable, and I strive to change that idea, except for troublemakers. I also strive to be a leader and have assisted in situations in the past when I was the only Investigator around with no Inspector+ available. I do my best to take charge when able to, but also listen to my chain of command. I have also completed training for new agents and operatives as an FTO. My commitment to accuracy, fairness, and due process is what makes me suitable for the Internal Security Inspector role.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
- I believe that an ideal ISD Inspector is someone who sets a standard that others can look up to throughout their ISD career. Someone who shows leadership and takes charge when a situation arises. An ISD inspector’s role does not just extend to being a role model; it’s also by conducting duties professionally and ethically. Being a good listener, paying attention to facts, being patient with other personnel, and treating others with integrity are all important for an inspector to be successful. Having the knowledge to enforce the FLC, CoC, and CoE is critical for the role. Not only will you have the responsibilities of others to enforce the FLC, CoC, and the CoE, but you will also show others how to enforce them and correct others as needed if they are incorrect on enforcement. Using those moments to teach, correct, and re-enforce an agent or an investigator is a great way to show leadership as an ISD Inspector.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
- Currently, I have a few arrest reports and a few research studies that I have completed. I also made a useful HCZ map document to assist our ISD members in finding their way. I try to spend time on arrest reports, but there is typically a lot going on where ISD is needed.
For the research papers, the last 2 I completed I got an Excellent, and the last one I am still working on. It is for an SCP-682/SCP-035 sample study. The lack of papers I have is because I strive to complete my research completely and do multiple studies before completing them. I do not rush the process of science, and I enjoy adding a lot of detail to my papers. I also enjoy fully running through different aspects of the experiments.
I believe this document is a good roleplay-serving document because we have attempted so many tests and had some good failures and some great successes. I usually have a team from the RSD department that I have been working on and we do the work and larp what we can. It is really solid work so far and I cannot wait to submit it! I am also trying different aspects of the experement which is why its taking longer to submit as well.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
- An ISD Inspector has the following responsibilities from what I have observed so far (since I cannot see everything that an inspector can do because, in some cases, it pertains to info I would not know):
  1. Uphold the FLC, CoC, and CoE as all other members of ISD.
  2. Conduct investigations, detainment, and arrests related to FLC, CoC, and CoE violations. This can be for CL4 and under personnel. This also includes investigating conduct from ISD Operatives, Agents, and Investigators.
  3. Lead and enforce ISD Operatives, Agents, and Investigators to a successful career in ISD.
  4. Report to assistance calls from ISD Operatives, Agents, and Investigators for any questions. Questions can be related to charges, violations, and any situations in which they might request an Inspector’s assistance.
  5. Represent ISD when a commissioner is busy or absent.
  6. Uphold trust and integrity in any work.
  7. Assign tasks to ISD Agents, Operatives, and Investigators (ex: creating checkpoints for ID checks and assigning checkpoints).
  8. Providing orders to ISD Agents, Operatives, and Investigators during Code 1, Code 2, Code 3, Code 4, and Code 5 that align with the active Emergency Manager to ensure the safety of non-combatant personnel on site.
  9. Train and provide tests to ISD Agents, Operatives, and Investigators. Assist in checking for job bans and grading tests.
  10. Credit Agents, Operatives, and Investigators.
  11. Authorizing infiltrations into D block for info-breaching, trespassing, or type-blue situations.
  12. Grading and approving arrest documents/arrest reports, and helping ISD members with tips to get better grades.
  13. Assist with any operation as needed and suggest/encourage Agents, Operatives, and Investigators to do them.
  14. Complete operations/Sr. operations.
  15. Lead during emergencies when no other site command is available, including setting threat grade, calling a code black, KOS past airlock, authing AA, turning on Teslas, opening and closing bulk doors to ensure personnel safety. Inspectors are #6 in the hierarchy.
  16. Finally, follow orders from Commissioners +.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
- I believe that it will bring valuable knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to ISD and the Agents, Operatives, Investigators, as well as the rest of the leadership team. I am capable of leading the way during tense situations. I focus on non-combative personnel safety during codes. I follow orders as given from the chain of command and step in to organize if they are unavailable. I enjoy training new Agents and Operatives, and do my best to teach them the ways and would love to do the same for Investigators as well. I also enjoy helping others grow with their skills and knowledge. I use facts to make determinations for everything related to my duties in ISD. I will always uphold the FLC, CoC, and CoE. I also enjoy the interactions I have with other departments and would like to build more trust with others. I also have a few ideas I would like to bring up at some point to the ISD leadership and work through some new training scenarios.

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Johnny Broom grew up in a quiet, small town where nothing strange happened. At least there was nothing strange that people talked about. Johnny started noticing little details about his town as he grew up. His parent’s neighbor leaves at exactly 3:30AM in the morning with his loud truck. The stray dog that somehow knew when to sneak into the back yard after the yearly family BBQ was done. He found out that his uncle kept leaving a big steak behind the tree for the dog, and he hasn’t said anything since. In fact, he ended up leaving one after one year when his uncle didn’t show up. Johnny didn't grow up with pets. His parents were allergic to everything, including goldfish, as they said. Johnny quickly figured out that it was a lie. Johnny wrote everything he observed in his notebook as a child. Patterns, theories, observations. He enjoyed finding patterns since things always seem to have a pattern. He liked figuring out the truth behind things and catching people with lies. People knew him as a lie detector.
Johnny’s life changed when he was charged with something he didn’t do one night after he left his last college class of the day. An eyewitness reported that he broke into the cafe and stole a bunch of food items out of the fridge. It was just one person. No evidence. No motive, just jail. Johnny tried to explain to them that he was nowhere near the cafe and tried showing them evidence. They did not care to listen. They just wanted closure. He wanted justice. That moment changed something. He started noticing injustice everywhere. His eyes were open to the real world. At that moment, he decided to do his part in solving crimes and working through injustices. He worked his way up in his local police department and started working in the detective's division, where he solved a lot of cases.
One day, Johnny thought he saw a █████ ██████ ███████ at ████████ and he could not believe his eyes. He wanted to tell his friend but before he could arrive to his friend's house a large ███████ vehicle approached him and █████████████████████████████████████████████████████. After that point, Johnny could not remember what happened and started noticing a black van trailing him and could not shake a feeling that he was being followed.
Johnny did not find the foundation. The foundation found him and was watching him. One day, as he was finalizing a written testimony for a case, a man approached him. It was a foundation recruiter who had been watching him. He explained his purpose and explained that he saw potential in Johnny. He saw a great asset for the foundation.
Johnny accepted the offer but had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Johnny had a lot of work to do. He had to start working through the process and learn the ways of the foundation. He quickly became known for his calm demeanor and his patience. His ability to listen was loved by many who needed someone to talk to. Personnel started trusting him. Research staff and security staff enjoyed his company and respected his fairness. Johnny originally was the one people sought out when something didn’t feel right, but he was not the loudest voice in the room.
Years into his foundation career, Johnny witnessed a situation that was exactly what he had gone through. A researcher was accused of mishandling a containment procedure. There was no evidence, and the pressure was on the Operative to push the conviction. Johnny stepped in. He reviewed the case, checked any log entries, interviewed witnesses, and cross-checked everything. When doing so, he found a critical error that everyone missed. The containment procedure was never an issue. It was a malfunctioning sensor that had been overlooked by a tech expert. Johnny cleared that researcher’s name that day and was praised for his handling of the situation. From that point on, Johnny started being a louder voice and started taking initiative and helping others follow suit. One day, Johnny applied to be an investigator, and he got the role! He immediately asked to be an FTO to help train new Agents and Operatives and was approved! To this day, Johnny strives to be a great leader and to show others how to follow his steps in becoming a great team.

The story behind the nickname ‘Burrito’.
During his first month on site, Johnny was known for 2 things:
  1. Carrying a notebook everywhere
  2. Eating burritos during every break he had, no matter what hour it was.
One day, a Sr. Researcher joked, “If we were to ever lose him, just follow the smell of tortillas.” It was true. Johnny really liked burritos. He made burritos out of everything. Johnny didn’t mind the nickname because it made people smile and laugh in a place filled with such uncertainty. A little humor goes a long way.

Thank you for your consideration,
