- I currently bring a lot of expertise and knowledge with my current role as the Director of ISD. I have had experience and good standing with all department leadership. I have assisted in bringing ISD into a more positive role with the help of Tommy. I want to expand on that as an ECM. I am very level-headed when it comes to decision making and I am fair when it comes to actions I take. I always make myself available to those who report to me and respond to their needs in a timely fashion.

Johnny Broom grew up in a quiet, small town where nothing strange happened. At least nothing strange that people talked about. Johnny started noticing little details about his town as he grew up. His parent’s neighbor leaves at exactly 3:30AM in the morning with his loud truck. The stray dog that somehow knew when to sneak into the back yard after the yearly family BBQ was done. He found out that his uncle kept leaving a big steak behind the tree for the dog and he hasn’t said anything since. In fact he ended up leaving some one year when the uncle didn’t show up. Johnny didn't grow up with pets. His parents were allergic to everything including goldfish as they said. Johnny quickly figured out that was a lie. Johnny wrote everything he observed down in his notebook as a child. Patterns, theories, observations. He enjoyed finding patterns since things seem to always have a pattern. He liked figuring out the truth behind things and catching people with lies. People knew him as the lie detector.
Johnny’s life changed when he was charged with something he didn’t do one night after he left his last college class of the day. An eye witness reported that he broke into the cafe and stole a bunch of food items out of the fridge. It was just one person. No evidence. No motive, Just jail. Johnny tried to explain to them that he was nowhere near the cafe and tried showing them evidence. They did not care to listen. They just wanted closure. He wanted justice. That moment changed something. He started noticing injustice everywhere. His eyes were open to the real world. At that moment, he decided to do his part in solving crimes and working through injustices. He worked his way up his local police department and started working in the detectives division where he solved a lot of cases.
Johnny did not find the foundation. The foundation found him. One day as he was finalizing a written testimony for a case, a man approached him. It was a foundation recruiter that has been watching him. He explained his purpose and explained that he saw potential in Johnny. He saw a great asset for the foundation.
Johnny accepted the offer but had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Johnny had a lot of work to do. He had to start working through the process and learn the ways of the foundation. He quickly became known for his calm demeanor and his patience. His ability to listen was loved by many who needed someone to talk to. Personnel started trusting him. Research staff and security staff enjoyed his company and respected his fairness. Johnny originally was the one people sought out when something didn’t feel right but he was not the loudest voice in the room.
Years into his foundation career, Johnny witnessed a situation that was exactly what he went through. A researcher was accused of mishandling a containment procedure. There was no evidence and the pressure was on the Operative to push the conviction. Johnny stepped in. He reviewed the case, checked any log entries, interviewed witnesses and cross-checked everything. When doing so, he found a critical error that everyone missed. The containment procedure was never the issue. It was a malfunctioned sensor that had been overlooked by a tech expert. Johnny cleared that researcher’s name that day and was praised for his handling of the situation. From that point on, Johnny started being a louder voice and started taking initiative and to help others follow suit. One day, Johnny applied to be an investigator and he got the role! He immediately asked to be an FTO to help train new Agents and Operatives and was approved! Johnny worked through going up the ladder by providing quality work to the department as his new role as Inspector when he got promoted. He worked on ensuring the image of ISD was held high and showed other departments that ISD is not scary. One day, Johnny was pulled into a room for a talk with his director. As he turned around the corner, he was met with a cake and all his great friends around the foundation. Johnny was promoted to his new role as Commissioner of IO in ISD. Johnny eventually made it to ISD Director. He felt as the department is too closed off and hated by all other departments. He wanted the department to strive so he started working on relations with other departments and eventually with the help of Tommy (his favorite ISD Director), he was able to pull it off. To this day, Johnny strives to be a great leader and to show others how to follow his steps in becoming a great team. He always puts his good foot forward and keeps his head held high during low times. He hopes to be the torch that helps lead the department even when things seem bleak.
