What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:

I see myself as a strong (Maybe not the best, but noone is perfect) candidate for ECA for several reasons. I have a good grasp of the CoE (And the FLC and CoC) due to my experience as an ISD Inspector where I would routinely have to enforce these things. As well as that I am able to remain calm and collexted even under stressful situations.
I have written several Rp relevant documents in past. With my most recent being Arrest Reports (I can show these if requested by an ECM) however I have had experience writing Psyche Evals, Medical Reports and RSD testing Documents.
While it's not strictly related, I do have Senior Cl4 experience due to my current holding of a UNGOC EXO position.

My prior experience on ECA would have me mainly interviewing Cl4 representatives of other departments to gage their feelings on the Ethics Committee and on Departments that ECMs oversee (E.G ISD)
Additionally I did also monitor Cl4 activity and document CoE violations on their behalf.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

In Rp an ECA has several different responsabilities. Such as

1: Handling Orders given by ECMs
: This is one of their main responsabilities. They can perform orders for the EC (Such as interviewing other Departments to get their opinion on how the CoE is being enforced) to help get information for the ECMs to use to decide future policies. In some cases they may be under a direct order from an ECM. This effectively gives them the same amount of power as said ECM. I wasn't personally given a Direct order during my time as ECA, but I am aware it can be done.

2: Taking an ECMs place in potentially risky scenarios:
An ECA could potentially take an ECMs place to ensure that the CoE is being followed in potentially hazardous areas. For example they could observe a 008 test which an ECM is curious about, but also does not want to risk being near. Or observing a Dblock sweep to make sure Dclass are being treated ethically (Though this is moreso an ISD duty tbh)

3: General Liason: They can act as a liason between Ethics and other Departments, handling minor ethics complaints which do not warrant ECM intervention, but still need resolving. Then they could potentially decide if it is worth involving an ECM.
Additionally they could help take action against personnel who have violated the CoE, bringing them to justice.

4: Representation of the Ethics Committee: They can act as Cl4 representatives of Ethics, being someone who Dclass, Site staff, or other people can approach to enquire if something is ethical or not.

Character Lore

Joris Kilotovitz has served the Foundation for a while now. He initally started at the low position of Junior Researcher, having been brought into the service of the SCP Foundation due to excellent University performance. He was able to make it to Executive Researcher.
His time as an Executive was short as he had to leave Site-65 to work on Project █████████

He has left and returned to Site-65 a few times. Having made new friends and new memories along the way. Some he holds close to his heart, others keep him awake at night and some he tries desperately to forget.

Despite having left the Site for long periods of time on multiple occasions, He always finds himself drawn back to Site-65. Sometimes he's not even sure why. But he does feel loyalty to the Foundation. Site-65 has always felt like his home.
Maybe that's why he always returns back. As his fond memories still exist, the concrete walls containing familiar memories. Despite the lingering memories of those which have harmed him.

(Joris is loyal to the Foundation and willing to follow orders, even if they risk harm to himself. He will help ensure that the SCP Foundations beliefs are brought forwards.)
