Civilian name: [GT] Koofus
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- MTF Omega-1 Laws Left Hand (Current)
- MTF Nu-7 Hammer Down (Former)
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- None that I'm aware of.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- Compared to my Omega-1 job I love roleplaying as a researcher, trying to get SCP tests to be more about the SCP and their lore. Whenever I play researcher I try my hardest to really bring out the roleplay aspect and bring a new story to some SCPs in the facility. Ever since I've been playing researcher more I've been waiting for a slot so I could apply for myself, considering that I much prefer roleplaying I believe that it would be a slot that I would nicely fit into. I also love helping people out with learning how to do their research jobs, showing them where to look on the board if they need help on their tests or on how to write a research document (even having some people ask me to proof read their documents before they go hand them for approval).
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I'm very good when it comes to talking to people, whether that be teaching them what to do or helping them make something better like a document. I'm also extremely informed on SCPs and I try my best to bring roleplay to my tests whenever I can, making tests a much more enjoying experience for SCPs, escorts, and even other researchers. I also know the Legal Codex (more the ethics side) like the back of my hand, being able to tell when something would be considered 'unethical' and how to explain to someone what they're doing could get them in trouble.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I've written around 3 with 2 other tests currently being worked on.
- What makes a document excellent is the use of formatting, proper grammar, being knowledgeable, and sometimes just aesthetic by adding images or making things look cohesive. When reading an excellent document you can tell that they know what they're writing about, putting effort in how they did their test and considering all the things that may happen during it. Also making sure to write all the information that is required.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- To grade documents that Researchers write based on how well they're written, how much information they have, if they used the proper format, and if effort was put into writing/doing the test. Another thing Executive Researchers do is approve tests (using proper chain of command) and they may even choose to oversee any tests to watch if all procedures are properly followed. Executives are also there to help Jr. Researchers when it comes to what they can do or how to properly research on scps their clearance. They will also help Researchers in how to write excellent documents, proper protocol during tests, and even proper etiquette in places like D-block.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
█████ "Sunshine" ██████ was born to a single mother in a poor neighbourhood, where the crime rate was high and the house was never clean. Her mom would never be home to take care of her and most of the time would leave her alone to fend for herself. This would cause "Sunshine" to find something to keep her mind occupied, this led her to looking at the pictures at the books in her house which were mostly about biology or psychics. Throughout her childhood she tried her best to focus on her studies so she could get praise, excelling in all of her studies and being especially gifted in science related subjects.
As soon as she graduated High School she enrolled into ████████ University for Clinical Laboratory Science in the hopes of being able to work in a lab and preforming her own tests. During University she was eligible for a service dog for her PTSD and was able to get her now service dog "Sunflower" which helped her a lot with her studies and once she graduated, her work. In her work she was one of the best scientists in her lab, excelling in psychological and biological tests. One day while on her way to work she was suddenly taken only to end up in the Foundation interrogation room, there was a man in a suit in front of her offering a position as a Junior Researcher. She gladly accepted it, believing that she was going to be working with the government but it didn't take her long to realise what they were really up to. Despite that she continued to happily work there, climbing all the way to Senior Researcher where she started proving her worth. This caught the attention of some of the Executives and the DoR where they called her to the office, telling her the news.
