Do You Have A Mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-O1 COM, 2x O1 MAJ, A1 SGT, 2x ECA, 2x OSA, 3x Nu7 LCPL, 1x E11 LCPL, GOC LCPL, CI Delcom.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
The naming con was for having my name be Peter "Griffin" as a cadet. The FailRP was for shooting a matador in o1 bunks 2 years ago. The ban for FearRP|LTAP I honest to god don't know i played once during that month and don't remember breaking any rules. And the last RDM was for shooting a fake when codeword checking them but not waiting 5 seconds.
What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the Ethics Committee Member role. The reason I am applying for this position is because for my entire time on this server, I have only played positions that are combative and not very roleplay intensive, mostly AO. However, over the course of my time as Commander, I believe I have experienced every aspect of combative RP that I have wanted to on the server. I believe it is time to evolve my RP skills in a less combative setting, and whilst I have been able to partially do this as an OSA, I think I am ready to transition to a SC position to expand my RP capability and influence. I chose specifically Ethics to pursue instead of 05 simply because ECMs tend to be more public figures and thus speak and interact to a wider variety of individuals, and I hope to be able to pursue more and diversify my RP skills by interacting with these types of individuals I usually otherwise would not have. Additionally, after playing this server for quite some time I believe I have a good sense for what is reasonable and not, and believe my perspective and experience would be a valuable addition to the group of people working not only on the COE, but other RP scenarios that find their way to SC. Lastly, I get along very well (at least I think) with the people currently on the committee.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe I am the best candidate for ECM for a variety of reason. For starters, I have months and months of Sr. Cl4 experience in a variety of sectors on the server, with a majority of it being in AO. Due to this, I have a deep understanding of the expectations and responsibilities of SC and ECMs specifically. I understand the impact the decisions of an ECM makes, whether its new policy for a department, new COE changes, or heat of the moment RP decisions, and I believe that I have the knowledge and experience to make sure the impactful changes I will be apart of are well thought out to avoid any potential consequences of poor decisions. Additionally, I have had the pleasure (and misfortune) to be around for a wide variety of ECMs, and over the course of my time in O1 I have been able to pick up what makes a good ECM, a mediocre ECM, and a horrible ECM, and therefor I know what is to be expected of a good ECM and what pitfalls to avoid so that I won't repeat the past mistakes of other ECMs before me. Furthermore, I believe that due to my experience in the previously mentioned wide variety of Sr. CL4 experience, I have developed good leadership, people, and communication skills. I try my best to make sure everyone has a voice and a part in RP so that everyone can have an enjoyable time on the server, as that is one of the main responsibilities of an ECM.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
The responsibilities of the Ethics Committee are but not limited to:
- Maintaining/updating the COE
- Leading and creating Roleplay for Omega-1 and other onsite Departments/GOIs
- Reminding Combative personnel of currently active AA level
- Authorizing ERT to come onsite
- Calling Code Blacks and Nukes if necessary
- Being apart of tribunals as necessary/requested
- Authorizing Work Permits
- Approving or denying projects and other proposals brought to them.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
- Voting on ISD Dpt. Director Applications
- Voting on ECA Applications
- Reviewing appeals pushed up to them
- Working with Dpt. Leaders to create or modify policy
- Help Vote on the COM of Omega-1
- Working with a variety of personnel (Dpt. Leads, Sr CL4 personnel, GOI's, etc...) to create meaningful and engaging RP
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in:
On 3/14/[REDACTED], Omega-1 infiltrated Site-[REDACTED]. Omega-1 was tasked with capturing 3 high priority targets: Director of Research Alexander McNilly under charges of SCP Misuse after using SCP-038 to duplicate SCP-500 instances for personal use. Site Manager Sheila Lang under charges of Treason for disregarding official Ethics Committee Orders to shut down the attempted duplication of SCP-500 instances with SCP-038. And lastly, 05-[REDACTED] after operation "Smoke Screen" resulted in conclusive evidence that 05-[REDACTED] had forged a pact with SCP-738 to obtain his seat on the Council, however the nature of this pact is not fully known and is still being investigated. From now on, high priority targets will be referred to as their operational designations: Alexander McNilly - "Pharmacist", Sheila Lang - "Sloth", and 05-[REDACTED] - "Bingo".
After compiling operational reports from Omega-1 operatives deployed to site-[REDACTED], the following events are the likely most accurate depiction of Operation "House Of Cards".
MTF Omega-1 Operatives Deployed:
- Omega-1 Commander Peter "Knight" Keith
- Omega-1 Captain Thatcher "Wyvern" Hayes
- Omega-1 Captain Rebecca "Horizon" Sanders
- Omega-1 Command Sergeant Anthony "Vogue" Louis
- Omega-1 Command Sergeant Ortiz "Hevy" Alexander
- Omega-1 Corporal Samantha "Sweepstakes" Summer
Date: 3/14/[REDACTED]
Time: 17:45
Omega-1 Operative: Captain Thatcher "Wyvern" Hayes
"Commander, where are you going?"
"I'm staying behind, you guys go on and complete the mission"
"Sir we we're ordered to extra-"
"I know what was ordered, captain."
"Then what do you think you're doing? Ignoring an Ethics order is treason. We don't have time to argue we have to go."
"You don't think I know that? Listen, maybe it is treason, but you just heard yourself that the onsite nuclear warhead is going to detonate in 30 minutes unless someone stops it. We don't know if Nu-7 has fully fended off the Chaos Insurgents, so I'm going down to make sure myself it doesn't detonate."
"But why? This isn't our mess."
"Maybe not, but what happens if Nu-7 is overrun? What if the Insurgents are able to wipe out all our combative forces? There are 2 major cities nearby, each with populations in the millions. A nuclear warhead blast would be a devastating loss of life, and I for one can't live with the knowledge that people died and that maybe, just maybe, I could've stopped it. So no, your orders are to leave with Bingo and rendezvous with the Committee."
"Screw that, if your staying, so am I. We're a team after all."
"Wyvern, your orders are too-"
"I know what my orders are, commander. Maybe I don't want a guilty conscience from letting you go alone. I'm coming, now cmon"
Helicopter 2's flight log indicated that both Wyvern and Knight were not aboard. Due to the failure of main power, camera footage is unavailable and thus the only known record of the following events are from the body cams of Omega-1 operatives "Knight" and "Wyvern". Due to the extreme radiation leaks from the reactors, the bodycam on the Omega-1 operatives was semi destroyed. The events that follows is a best effort recreation of events that transpired:
Omega-1 operatives Knight and Wyvern re-entered the site. Making their way to EZ, it is likely they encountered either Chaos Insurgent forces or an SCP due to extreme heart rate elevations recorded by their [REDACTED]. The operatives are thought to have next approached Light Containment Zone, where flashes of bodycam footage indicates that the operatives encountered a small squad of Insurgents. Assumed to have wiped the Insurgent squad out, the operatives made their way through Heavy Containment Zone, avoiding any SCP's that might have breached. They made their way to sector WH-01, where they observed multiple Nu-7 and Site Security bodies. The operatives pushed on, and made their way to the War Head Control Terminal (WHCT). Upon accessing the terminal, Knight unsuccessfully attempted to force shutoff the arming of the warhead. An error message popped up on the screen:
"ALERT: EXTREME POWER FAILURE IMMINENT. LEAK IN REACTER 1-3 DETECTED."
Upon learning of this obstacle, Knight and Wyvern advanced to the Reactor Sector in Heavy Containment Zone. According to [REDACTED] in both Wyvern and Knight, radiation levels plateaued around 5.6 Sv. It is unknown how both operatives were able to resist the effects of the radiation long enough to fix the leak in reactors 1-3. The operatives finally made their way back to the WHCT, and force shutoff the warhead detonation. At 23:41, the heavily sickened bodies of Knight and Wyvern were recovered by Omega-1 operatives and returned to Site-65.
Once back to Site-65, both operatives were subject to extreme medical care in order to save their lives from their multiple wounds and extreme radiation sickness. Operative Knight was observed to have mad an overnight "miracle" recovery, likely due to possible SCP-[REDACTED] application, reporting no symptoms consistent with his previously observed ailments. After Knight's full recovery was confirmed, he was apprehended by Omega-1 and transported to [REDACTED].

At time 16:00, Omega-1 operatives arrived onsite via Helicopter Pad with Helicopter 1. C.A.S.S.I.E. made their presence known to the site, playing the following announcement:
"ATTENTION, LAW ENFORCEMENT UNITS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED ONSITE. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DUTIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OR FACE PROSECUTION. ATTENTION, LAW ENFORCEMENT UNITS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED ONSITE. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DUTIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OR FACE PROSECUTION."
Omega-1 proceeded to the main lobby, where they made contact with Executive Researcher Andros Miles. Miles reported that both "Pharmacist" and "Sloth" were attending a proposal in the Site Administration Offices. Omega-1 descended into the site where they quickly located Site Administration offices, and apprehended "Pharmacist" and "Sloth" without incident. It is presumed that both targets complied willfully with Omega-1, seemingly accepting their fates. Omega-1 returned to their helicopter, where they deposited both "Pharmacist" and "Sloth". While helicopter 1 exfilled the targets, Helicopter 2 was on standby for Hot Extraction. Omega-1 operatives where raised on private communications, where they were informed of the incoming Alpha-1 Team approaching Site-[REDACTED]. With time being cut shorter than expected, Omega-1 operatives descended back into the site where they searched for "Bingo". After 15 minutes of active search, operative "Hevy" called out the position of "Bingo" was in the site Emergency Operations Room(E.O.R.) accompanied by 6 Alpha-1 Operatives. Omega-1 quickly regrouped outside the E.O.R. and staged a tactical acquisition of "Bingo". At time 17:32, "Bingo" was officially in Omega-1 custody. However, at time 17:33, C.A.S.S.I.E. played the following announcement:"ATTENTION, LAW ENFORCEMENT UNITS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED ONSITE.
"ALERT: CHAOS INSURGENCY FORCES HAVE BEEN REPORTED. MOBILE TASK FORCE NU-7 "HAMMER DOWN" HAS BEEN RADIO'D AND IS ETA 5 MINUTES. SHELTER IN PLACE UNTIL MOBILE TASK FORCE UNITS HAVE DECLEARED THE ALL CLEAR."
It is at this time, Site-[REDACTED] SCP containment sensors reported the following:"ALERT: CHAOS INSURGENCY FORCES HAVE BEEN REPORTED. MOBILE TASK FORCE NU-7 "HAMMER DOWN" HAS BEEN RADIO'D AND IS ETA 5 MINUTES. SHELTER IN PLACE UNTIL MOBILE TASK FORCE UNITS HAVE DECLEARED THE ALL CLEAR."
"SCP-953 CONTAINMENT FAILURE HAS BEEN DECTED. ALL SECURITY FORCES RESPOND TO SECTOR A-3"
Omega-1 operatives opted to shelter in place at the E.O.R. awaiting for Nu-7 arrival. Once Nu-7 arrived onsite, they made contact with Chaos Insurgency forces. It is at this time "Knight" sent out "Wyvern", "Hevy", and "Sweepstakes" to engage the Chaos Insurgents and create a path to extract "Bingo". As the previously mentioned operatives engaged and wiped out Chaos forces, they eventually made contact with MTF Nu-7, where they lead them to the E.O.R. and regrouped with Omega-1 and then continued the extraction of "Bingo". As Omega-1 was approaching helicopter 2 for extraction, C.A.S.S.I.E. made the following announcement:
"WARNING: REACTOR 1 TURBINE OFFLINE."
"WARNING: REACTOR 2 TURBINE OFFLINE."
"WARNING: REACTOR 3 TURBINE OFFLINE."
"WARNING: FULL SITE POWER FAILURE. EMERGENCY POWER ENGAGED. TIME REMAINING BEFORE FAILSAFE NUCLEAR WARHEAD: 30 MINUTES"
"SCP-939 CONTAINMENT FAILURE HAS BEEN DETECTED. ALL SECURITY FORCES RESPOND"
Operative "Knight" radio'd to the Ethics Committee to update them of the site failure. The Committee ordered that Omega-1 extract now and bring "Bingo" to secure zone "Tango-10". Operative "Knight" promptly informed Omega-1 of their orders. Before helicopter 2 took off, operative "Knight" exited the helicopter, and the following conversation was caught by audio recorders embedded in their Omega-1 standard issue bodycam:"WARNING: REACTOR 2 TURBINE OFFLINE."
"WARNING: REACTOR 3 TURBINE OFFLINE."
"WARNING: FULL SITE POWER FAILURE. EMERGENCY POWER ENGAGED. TIME REMAINING BEFORE FAILSAFE NUCLEAR WARHEAD: 30 MINUTES"

Subject: Omega-1 Commander Peter "Knight" Keith
"Comfortable Commander?"
"Uhm, yeah, I guess."
"Good, good. It's good to see you in better health."
"Thank you"
"Now, onto business. Tell me, do you know why you are here?"
"*cough* Yeah, I could imagine."
"Do you have anything to say for yourself?"
"What would you like me to say?"
"Maybe you could talk about where in your job descriptions it was unclear that you do what you are told unconditionally."
"Well sir I-"
"Maybe you could talk about going rambo and disregarding a direct order. Maybe you could tell me why you abandoned your mission."
"Well sir, it was real bad down there. I mean the whole site, gone to shit. Your telling me your upset I saved the lives of millions?"
"Upset doesn't do justice to just how enraged I am with your actions. Do you know the consequences that have arisen from your choices?"
"I do. I know that today millions of people have the blessing to live their lives, and millions more are saved from the possible anomalies that could have slipped past a nuclear warhead. So, i'm not going to apologize for saving those lives. The same lives that the Committee vows to do justice to everyday, the same lives that give me my purpose and faith in the Committee."
"The difference between us, commander, is I have the power to decide on these things vested in me by those above me. You, do not."
"I don't care who gives what, I don't regret what I did. Do what you must to me."

Knight is taken to a holding cell. After what seems like hours, Knight is brought to an office deep within Site Administration. He is instructed to enter, and when he does, he can see an envelope on the table. Inside the envelope, Knight first notices in the typed letter, a massive handwritten signature of the Chairman. Confused, he reads the beginning of the letter.Subject: Omega-1 Commander Peter "Knight" Keith
