Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- As a member of GSD, I return to my roots. Everyone who plays on the server has been a member of GSD. I want to be able to make a lasting impact on those roots. Being a security captain would give me the ability to make RP more enjoyable for newer members learning the ropes of our server. I wish to be able to teach, and to lead. As a sergeant I understand I have this ability but only a portion of it. Being a security captain would open new doors for me to further expand my career within the security departments of site 65, and let me create opportunities for others.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- What makes me suitable for this role is my expansive time played on this server, my understanding of GSD, their handbook, and all FLC guidelines they should follow. A lot of my time spent on this server has been as GSD. What else makes me suitable is my ability to adapt to any ongoing threats to D-Block or the site. I can manage personnel, where they're needed, sort out extraction of D-Class, and manage D-Block when under codes 1, 2, 4, and 5.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
- Security captains hold many responsibilities, including but not up to:
1. Managing D-Block
As a security captain, one of your top priorities is the effectivity and efficiency of D-Block. Your tasks will be handling D-Class personnel to researchers, authorising sweeps during Code 2s, Keeping the rest of GSD in line, and issuing work permits to D-Class.
2. Assisting management
As a Cl4 holder, you're a jr leadership role. It's up to you to coordinate with other security captains and security chiefs to work efficiently while creating a secure environment for non-combative personnel and D-Class to ensure site operations run smoothly.
3. Tryouts
Another job for security captains is to host tryouts. It is our duty to have our security staff well trained, and hosting tryouts can assist them in getting qualifications in fields that can enhance their combat and help them to understand the roles, responsibilities, and duties of holding said qualifications.
