I can bring hard work, determination, experience, roleplay, and activity to the Global Occult Coalition. Firstly, hard work, I believe this goes hand in hand with determination and activity. I am active on the server everyday for around 3 hours. While on the server I do my best to progress myself in rp, and the positions I hold. Once I start a job I will not quit until I complete it, putting both time and effort into it. I have only been Security Captain for around 1 week yet I have learned a great amount about leadership positions and responsibilities on this server. This also helps my roleplay ability which is a large facet of the position. While I may not be an expert in the GOC lore, I will work my hardest to learn it, and master it. I believe that my ability and activity will benefit the Global Occult Coalition by being active and competent at the position.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I would like to be a part of GOC for multiple reasons. I would like to be a part of this highly respected group to grow and strengthen my rp skills. I think the dynamic on the surface is very interesting, and constantly changing. I want to participate and bring a new facet to my surface roleplay. I want to interact with CI, Civis, and the Foundation from a different point of view. Personally, I think the lore and backstory of GOC is the most interesting of any group on the server and I would love to explore it in this position.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
After the Seventh Occult War multiple governments were afraid of anomalous threats. Because of this, 108 different anomalous/occult groups formed the Global Occult Coalition to protect society from these threats.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS - PHYSICS Division acts similar to the foundation's Mobile Task Force. The primary objective of the PHYSICS Division is to investigate & capture/neutralize parathreats. The two main groups that the PHYSICS Division is composed of are the Assessment Teams, who handle the investigation & observation of parathreats, and the Strike Teams, who are the primary combative force of the Division.
PSYCHE - The UNGOCs PSYCHE Division are diplomats. They interact with organizations such as the Foundation, CI, and others, & work to maintain peace between them. Very similar to the Foundation’s Department of External Affairs.
PTOLEMY - Finally, the PTOLEMY Division. The PTOLEMY Division is a combination of the Foundations Scientific & Logistics Department. They handle various tasks, such as researching parathreats, developing new technology, and handling the logistics for many things ranging from food & equipment to weapons & ammunition. The PTOLEMY Division is the Support Arm of the UNGOC.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?
Survival - The GOCs primary goal is to protect humanity from parathreats.
Concealment - The GOCs secondary goal is to hide all knowledge about paranormal threats from the public. They must avoid panic and hysteria at all costs.
Protect - The GOCs third goal is to protect individual humans & members of the GOC whenever possible, as long as it does not conflict with the primary & secondary goals.
Destruction - The GOCs fourth goal is to neutralize all parathreats, as their very existence has the potential to cause great harm to humanity & may very well completely wipe out humanity.
Education - The GOCs fifth goal is to always strive to expand their knowledge of parathreats, focusing on their weaknesses & researching ways to permanently neutralize & prevent the spread of more parathreats, so long as said research does not conflict with any of the four previous goals.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
During WWII, the Nazi Regimes very own occult organization attempted to complete the “Rite of Solomon”, a ritual that would allow them to change the nature of magic. Hitler and his generals intended to use this to create his “master race”. This led GOC, or known at the time as the Allied Occult Initiative, alongside other organizations, to fight and stop the Nazi’s from completing their goal. This would lead AOI to become GOC to prevent this from happening in the future.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
I think that GOC is incredibly interesting, and carries far more diverse views compared to the other GOIs. This group being the “Avengers” of the SCP-Universe makes them vital for the story line. Additionally, GOCs relationship with the GOIs is very interesting. While most groups concern themselves with the ethicality of the use of the anomalies, GOC is purely interested in destroying all anomalies. GOC believes that any mention, evidence, etc. of these anomalies are highly dangerous to society.

Michael Bands was born to Mark and Helen in Saskatchewan Canada, 1998. Showing an aptitude for school at a young age, Michael was enlisted in the Royal Military College of Canada. Michael was fairly aware of the abnormalities that arose in his home town of Saskatchewan, but did not think much of it. He studied hard, went to school, and graduated as an officer in the Royal Canadian Military, as a MP.
While on Military leave, visiting family in Saskatchewan, Michael saw dark
figures brushing through the woods near the Old Military facility down the road. Being intrigued, Michael got into his 2008 Ford Pickup, and headed into the tumultuous woods. However, Michael was not ready for what he was about to see. A horned monster, that Michael recognized from the stories his friends used to tell at school. Michael could recognize that figure from the back of his hand, the “Wendigo”.
Entranced by the monster in front of him, Michael did not see the tree ahead of him. The front of Michael’s pickup barreled directly into the old oak at a rapid pace. The next face Michael saw was a large figure, dawning a blue digital camo military uniform. In a terror, Michael sprang to his feet and quickly rubbed the blood out of his eyes, frantically looking around. He found himself in an unfamiliar military style base surrounded by other large men in blue military suits. One dressed in a suit addressed Michael by his full name. He said “What you have seen in the woods today, is more than any one person should. However, it is to my understanding that you are well versed in the paranormal activity of this sleepy town.” Michael hesitantly replied “Yes… sir..”. “Well…” the shadowy figure continued, “We here at the GOC would like to offer you a job with us, if you are inclined to protect your home town.” After a slight hesitation Michael accepted, and began his journey in the ranks of the GOC.
