What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
I am applying for 05-4 under the disguise of The Harbinger.
As The Harbinger I will conduct Forbidden experimentation, Obsessed with the concept of knowledge itself. Collecting anomalies to store, study and create for use in the future. Looking for the brightest minds in the foundation to further their goal.
I am applying for the 05 council as this would allow me to take on a bigger RP leader role within the foundation giving me a wider degree of freedom regarding ideas and SCPs that I can bring to site-65 for projects and just overall RP I can bring to each department. I currently have RP story lines public and private that this role would help me greatly expand upon. Something I really want to bring more attention as an 05 member would be the SCPs of the foundation. We are in a world where the impossible is possible and I want more people and Role players to really dive into the world we are a part of at Site-65. I will do this by showing people how to do projects and be an active member in projects and experiments that I give to people. Rather than just handing them a doc and getting the member to conduct the project I have written down. I want to show them the idea in real time, well handing them written information to really show the member the potential of the RP that can be created from the project. I really just want to create a fun engaging role play for all of Site-65 to really enjoy. Continuing to be a pain for the Ethics Committee in RP.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I would make a great candidate for the 05 Council. As I am extremely active on site and can be around for reviewing projects and distribution of projects often. Through my experience inside of RSD working my way up the ranks to now being the Director of Research. I have come across many different situations where I have had to lead an RP scenarios, manage a Core department, deal with conflicts and show members from different departments different forms of RP moving around the site with purpose most of the time. When I conduct my tests/rp I like to involve as many departments as I can during my testing/rp. As much as many people will know me as a 100% non combative player I still create tests/rp scenarios that require the combative personnel to be present and active during the test as many never know the outcome my tests/rp will have. As for more of the passive RP that is where I am in my element as I have created many of passive role play scenarios related to GOIs, Creating anomalies, Cloning, and Going further into a major plot being the Daevites. This shows I can really diversify my RP that I do on site to a little bit of everything. Having a lot of my tests ending with the personnel involved going to medbay for physical and mental checkups or repairing damage they sustained during testing/RP scenario.
Another reason is I have been a fan of the SCP universe for about a decade making me a very big nerd when it comes to a lot of SCPs. This can be translated over in the RP I do as whenever we are by an SCP I know a good chunk of lore and ways to interact with the SCP that would be a benefit and possibly teach people around me more things about the anomalies. Helping build their Character up and giving them a unique character that builds and gets IC lore increasing their rp experience.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
-The 05 Council is responsible for giving areas/ideas for research to explore or termination of SCPs if deemed necessary.
-Ensure the Foundation runs smoothly and the Code of Conduct is followed across the site.
-To oversee critical choices the foundation needs to make.
-To determine what is allowed in the world of SCP.
-Being a figure that is known to be serious, Critical, understanding yet feared if overstepped on.
-Be prepared to nuke the site if the site is non recoverable. After ERT, and Advanced Armoury is used and fails to contain the breach.
-Approve Advanced armoury and ERT when needed
-Call Code Black when evacuation is deemed necessary.
-Uphold the mission statement of the SCP foundation(Secure, Contain, Protect)
-Keeping Ethics accountable if they decide to overstep their boundaries.
-Ensure the knowledge of SCP around the site is managed at appropriate levels and dealt with in a professional way to keep Site Inspection feared around site-65.
-Have listening ears in as many areas as you can.
-Creating orders for the overseer assistants. Making sure to utilize all assets the council has at their disposal.
-Maintain the veil of the SCP Foundation.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they
handle?):
-Going on the Civil Network Forums and voting on Applications such as Site Director, Overseer Assistants, and Overseer applications.
-Helping -1 choose a good A1 commander. Ultimately the decision is up to -1.
- Ensuring and Maintaining the Code of Conduct making sure it is up to date and in a good state.
-Handing appeals of demotions if they make it to the Council.
-Coordinating with the Core departments leads to ensuring that we are creating good interactive RP on Site-65.
-Working with Gamemasters and the Event team to improve the experience the community can have with the RP.
-Creating or supporting Large RP/Event Scenarios for the community to interact with.
- Giving Long term / on going story lines for different members inside of the foundation.
Please give some lore about your O5 character and what story lines they would be involved in:
Andrew Snow is from Ontario, Canada. Where he was a member of the National Research Center his field of study was Quantum and Nanotechnologies. During his study the foundation saw the potential of his mind and invited him to Site-65 to work as a researcher. Andrew is very docile and does not like to participate in violence only vowing to carry a pistol when dire situations arise. Andrew would be involved in story lines along the lines of creating an SCP. Testing the potential of information gathering and understanding with the use of SCP to further his knowledge. Causing him to have the reins pulled by higher members for his drastic and scary testing ideas. Lastly Andrew is extremely loyal to the foundation and will be friends with anyone who lets him increase his knowledge and create/test to his heart's content.
Jr Researcher Snow
As a Jr Snow was guided into research by Executive John ‘Bean’ Atkinson. Bean was a rough mentor often beating Snow when he would forget a piece of policy really drilling how RSD works in his head. Bean brought me to 049 CC to conduct my first test being an interview. I could also never forget Forest Green for giving me a very detailed tour probably showing me more then he was supposed to but has gained my respect since.
Researcher Snow
I knew how everything worked at this point and still would get lost but I was obsessed with SCP-999. I want to make another copy to really push the limits. Everyone would look at me like I'm crazy but I collected 50 Litres of SCP-999 for this purpose. BUT THE DAYM CI KEPT STEALING SCP-294! THE HIGHER UPS DIDN'T EVEN CARE WE LOST IF FOR TWO WEEKS! The Security and retrieval process at Site-65 needs to be rethought out. I also got my gun permit at this time Bean helped guide me through the process. That's also when I met Sammy and Korey… I have gained a fear of short people since.
Sr Researcher Snow
This is where my career really took a turn for the worse. I was told about the higher ups how we don’t mess with them just follow their rule and stay off their radar…. I did not take them seriously enough. I constantly tested the boundaries for Ideas. What I was allowed to know. I did a test on [REDACTED] My test was innovative and everyone was surprised it worked, even me. It got me on the radar. Later that day I was taken to [REDACTED] Given a job to complete. I wrote up the job and asked for some ideas from my high ranking co-workers. I didn't understand how site-65 worked yet ohh how naive I was. I should never have talked to anyone. I just wanted to make the document good, clean and strong. Well more people caught wind of this test and knowledge spread. I was questioned by a lot of people regarding my test taken back and forth being treated as an object by both sides. Richard treated me well and actually saved me a good number of times, like when I was almost forced to take a psyche Evaluation from Sammy and Korey being forced to carry a pistol. Clearly the Ethics committee liked me and promoted me to Executive Researcher where my life only got more complicated.
Executive Researcher Snow (Before)
This is when people were coming up to me and taking photos of me constantly. It got me paranoid I knew something others didn't. I got scared I didn’t have control anymore that I truly didn’t have free will anymore. Richard noticed me in distress and tried to comfort me and tried to figure out why I was so on edge. I felt alone so I talked to Richard and told him what I thought the pictures were about and his reaction did not calm me down only increased my fears. I tried to lay low after this but It was too late for that. I had proven I knew what I was doing with anomalies. I created a cognitohazard using SCP-914. I wonder if that's still… Never mind that. This is also when me and Executive Josh Blondeou started talking brainstorming tests together and well… I told Josh I had a 662 test planned. Josh laughed and said let's do it! Let's go! Josh led me to HCZ Cross testing where I had SCP-662 placed. During this test we had no security or anyone, just me and Josh. Asking SCP-662 to steal something for me. This then changed the course of my life. I learned about the [REDACTED] . during the test apparently I was being called over comms. People were trying to figure out what I was doing. I kept lying trying to figure a way to talk myself out of what I had just done. A test with no security or supervision now that I look back it is probably best we did that under wraps. Ethics caught on to what I did. Called me into their office. I had no choice but to comply. This made them angry with me… Thankfully no one knows Josh was with me during the test. He got away free. I will not do a test like that again without direct supervision is what I told ethics but I think they know me well enough that I would if I could. Richard always had a close eye on me. He was nice but I know he was doing it just to report back to Ethics. This was also around the time I met another Executive with Richard Daniels. An Executive I will leave out of this file. But this just added to my list of already existing problems with Ethics, Site Inspection, [REDACTED] and now them. I don’t know how I did it but I attracted every anomalous being around the site like they were attracted to me never being given room to breathe. I felt anomalous with everything that would happen to me. Sammy and Korey kept calling me lucky saying today isn't my day you have another purpose. I didn't understand. I was very close with Bean, him being a guiding figure during my time at Site-65. We were going to a SCP-008 test when I was called to talk with someone and well that's the last thing I remember until a month later.
Executive Researcher Snow (After)
I was transferred back to Site-65 after a month-long vacation. Well needed mental reset. Many things have changed since I was on site. Bean and Adrian are no longer around; they were both really good friends. Richard has been promoted. Josh was DoR just got promoted to Site Advisor. I was then informed by RAISA Officer Lewis that we had to translate some Old Deavatie text. I was the first to get this completed, showing my brain is still as sharp as ever. It talked about sacrifices so I ran tests on the skull with Richards' approval. I am as ready as ever to continue to dedicate my life to Site-65 and the foundation and increase my knowledge.

Hello? Hello? Test test. Ok it’s working.
Hello my name is Andrew Snow this is log 22. I figured this is going to be the easiest way to keep track of my life. So here I go I guess.
<A deep breath can be heard in the tape>

Iv recently found out there is more to myself then I ever knew. I have come to know I am not the only me in this world. Almost as if I am linked to this other side. Recently I have been experiencing visions, writing symbols unconsciously in my notes. I recently had someone check my Hume levels and well they were above baseline reality. Giving me an explanation of the symbols and their anomalous abilities. Some create gusts of wind in a room with little to no air circulation. The paper with the symbols burning up and destroying themselves. Small reality distortions that leap you within a meter of where I interacted with the symbols. This has been an area of study I have been working on trying to determine these runes and occult practices that have started to show up since my return to site-65. These are all linked to <5 second pause> him... I have been to places no one can fathom touching or entering. I have gained knowledge that would break the mind of most individuals. I attract anomalies no matter where I go or what I do. Yet I am still here still alive after so many times I should have been killed, crushed and left for dead. I understand what it’s like to be crushed, destroyed, pulled apart then put back together by god-like beings. There has to be a reason I am still here, a higher purpose, an objective that I still have to complete. On another note I have finally completed my preparations for creating an SCP, a dream I have had since being a Jr here. Testing will begin shortly. I just need a promising individual I can take with me to conduct this. As for my other projects I currently have an operation planned to obtain SCP-[Redacted] for further creation of equipment I’m going to need NU-7 and Alpha-1 for retrieval of these SCPs I will probably have an assistant of the council oversee the operation on the ground with RSD and medical in tow to ensure safe retrieval. Ethics can not find out about this operation. <Sinister tone change> I’ll never forget what Richard did, his lies, his persuasiveness, the Ethic committee and their false friendship they give to their personnel. I was just a tool to be used by them. They didn’t care what happened to me. Backed me into a corner and forced me to take a deal. I’ll show them what they created and what they thought they could control. I’ll show them what it's like to be used as a tool. <tone back to normal> My craving for knowledge is still my number one priority the more I know the less I know.
