What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I think that I am the best candidate for ECA due to my activity and presence on the site. I have been around for roughly three years (on and off) and through all that time I have learnt how the site should be ran as well as what is expected of site staff. Even though I have only recently came back after a hiatus I know I am ready to take on a new role. Additionally I have prior experience in OSA which is another assistant role. I understand that there will be differences but my previous experience will allow me to learn faster and be ready to complete tasks faster then other candidates. I also have had a multitude of leadership roles in the site where I have proven my capabilities to set an example and push others to complete their duties the most efficient way possible.
What are the responsibilities of an Ethics Committee Assistant in RP?:
ECAs have a range of duties around the site. Being the Ethics Committee's personal assistants, they are supposed to act as the Committee's right hand (O-1 already took the left). They act in place of Committee members when one cannot be present. A few examples can be: Meetings, Document signing, answering questions and investigating departments or specific persons for the committee. They are also tasked with completing orders given by the Ethics Committee. ECAs can also do things like: Authorize AA, Sign class D work permits, And Enforce the CoC and CoE.
