What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I believe I am the best candidate for an Ethics Assistant due to my vast roleplay experience in many different communities, and my experience in this server. As a former A-1 Commander, one of my main duties is to protect the O5 Council, as well as Overseer Assistants. I can transfer my experience to the Ethics committee Assistant. This alone doesn't necessarily make me qualified, but I understand what being an Ethics Assistant entails. I believe if I become an assistant, I can be of great use to all of the Ethics Committee, and can make the roleplay experience much better, due to my vast knowledge in the SCP universe and beyond. I'm on the server daily, and I am capable of doing tasks that may need a good sum of work or roleplay required. I’d love to do this job, and you would see my work done with passion.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
The responsibilities of an Ethics Committee Assistant are to support the Ethics Committee in carrying out its duties and ensuring that ethical standards are followed throughout the organization. This includes helping organize meetings, maintaining records, preparing documents, and assisting with the review of ethical concerns or issues. An Ethics Committee Assistant also helps ensure that policies and procedures are followed, supports communication between committee members, and works to make sure ethical guidelines are upheld and not violated.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
I originally joined the Foundation as a researcher and spent most of my time assisting with containment procedures and testing. Over time, I started noticing that some staff were cutting corners during experiments or ignoring safety procedures to get faster results. I wasn't afraid to report these issues, even when it made me unpopular with some people.
One day, a containment incident occurred after multiple warnings about safety concerns had been ignored. I helped gather information for the investigation and provided records showing where procedures had been violated. The investigation led to several policy changes across the site.
Because of my involvement and my focus on staff safety and Foundation regulations, I was offered a position as an Ethics Committee Assistant.
