I believe I have a good understanding of the backstory of SCP-096 and his behaviour.
What is the usual behaviour of SCP-096 when pacified?:
When SCP-096 is pacified, he will sit down and cry in his hands, covering his face. Same goes for when he is breached and no one has seen his face. If he has been undisturbed for an amount of time, then he may wander.
When breached, where is SCP-096 allowed to go? Can SCP-096 beeline straight to D-Block?:
He is only allowed to run ("beeline") towards the ones who have seen his face, once he has eliminated those targets, he will sit down and cry.
How is SCP-096 re-contained? Please describe all steps of the process:
1. Grab Scrambles to allow yourself to look at him for a little.
2. Grab 2 buckets (have a second person grab a bucket), an SCP Containment Beam and SCP Cuffs.
3. Sweep facility for SCP-096 and his photo. Once you have found him, wait until he is pacified.
4. Put a bucket on his head once he is pacified and wait a little longer until certain he is done killing his targets.
5. Use containment beam on him and cuff him once he is glowing yellow.
6. Now that he is cuffed, drag him back to his containment quickly before he breaks the bucket. If he breaks the bucket, use the second one on him.
