What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- I believe I am fit for the task of ECA because I am respectful, level-headed, and mature. I have a lot of experience as CL4 positions, I know the CoE like the back of my hand, and I know how to enforce ethics and stop ethical violations.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- ECAs handle tasks given by ECMs, which can be reviewing regiments or departments, dealing with Ethical complaints, approving tests, etc.
- ECAs also command MTF Omega-1 in ECM absence.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
MTF █████-█ Operative "Spade" was relaxing in his bunks when his commander entered the room with a very well dressed gentleman. The commander asked him to follow the gentleman to a private room, where they would speak. He made out a pin that said "EC" on it. Ethics Committee? They're real? Most personnel thought they were a fake group made up to scare us.
The gentleman introducted himself as Doctor John Canoon, the Chairman of the Ethics Committee. He thought he was screwed, he thought he did something wrong, he was panicking. The whole time, the Chairman kept a level head and a calm tone. After catching his breath and relaxing, the Chairman looked at him and bluntly said,
"Listen, 'Spade'. I know all about you, what you've done, and how you act. These are the kind of things the EC watches. We commend your actions as of late, so we have decided to appoint you as one of our assistants. You will help us wherever you can. This job is non-negotiable and a lifetime commitment."
He started to think about what he did to alert the Ethics Committee, until he thought back to the time where he and other █████-█ operatives terminated several civilians to protect a spread of SCP-096's face on the public news. Was this it?
"You're probably thinking, 'How did I attract the attention of Ethics'. Allow me to tell you. You placed the good of the world over the good of a few on several occasions, most notably during the recent SCP-096 breach. Again, welcome to the Ethics Committee.
