What will you do to stop this from happening again: I guess I'll just stop using my gun when I'm 409 because for some reason it's against the rules?

Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned? Yes I have been warned for other things but not for this ever, I have read the rules and not once did I see you could not use a gun as an SCP, especially when being 409.

Why should you be unbanned: I feel like I should be unbanned from the game because I didn't even know you couldn't use a gun as 409. I was not even warned that I couldn't use. Torian probably got mad at me too for killing him as 409 but I didn't even know that 409 wasn't even allowed to use a GUN especially if I'm technically ME. I was Infected by a Tech Expert and did what the SCP does, Goes and Infected others cause that's what it does? Torian told me I'm not allowed to go infected others if I'm an SCP but like isn't that the point of being an SCP? I don't understand why I'm banned for this. Torian didn't even care if I didn't know or not (That's what I think due to the tone of his voice). He just wanted to ban me cause I killed him and other people. I feel like it's really unjust. I didn't know that I couldn't do this and I was just playing as any other person would. ( I don't even know what to say anymore while writing this as I literally did not even know I couldn't do this.)

How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?: I don't purposely go around and try to break the rules. I keep trying to stay in RP while playing on this server. Even if I try to, somehow I could break a rule that isn't stated in the RULES. Like it's not common sense or anything because if something isn't stated in the rules. How is someone supposed to know?

Why do you want to rejoin this server?: I spent over 60$ on this game and like the community (To an extent). It's fun playing on this server because everyone is so fun to talk to and how fun it can be to play as CI, an SCP, or D Class. I love this game and will continue to support it even if I get banned/warned for just or unjust reasons.

Hello and thank you for taking time out of your day to make this ban appeal. To set the story for this situation..

I in fact was not the person who pulled and spoke to you as I was only given secondhand information at the time. I was only the person to issue the ban after reviewing information, but I do want to point out things you had stated in this appeal..

You spoke about how you got afflicted by 409 and basically started blasting everyone you could after being touched by a tech expert..

That clearly still to me sounds like MRDM it doesn't matter if you are a 409-2 or not. It is not like you became a breached SCP as 409 is more like a virus then becoming a zombie like 049-2 or 008-2. It doesn't make sense for someone to go out shooting as they turn to crystals. You could argue this is more FailRP since the Tech Expert likely FailRP breached 409 but..

You show no clear remorse and instead saying you were banned because you killed me and a bunch of people and I have never seen anyone take the actions you have described in this appeal.

Ah thank you for replying, Yes I don't have any remorse as It angers me that I have to get banned for MRDM even thought I didn't KNOW I couldn't kill people if I were INFECTED by an SCP. I've seen people start killing people (Someone named Sergnant mr DOORS) after getting infected so I thought it would be fine but I guess it's not. I'm angry and confused. And whoever the staff that did actually pulled me sound like he was mad and gave off a passive aggressive tone.

Hi Noimless. Thank you fortaking the time to make this appeal.

I was the one that pulled you for this, and requested your ban after watching you murder multiple people and then myself. After checking logs I saw that you had clearly killed five or more people with no reason, and as-per our punishment guidelines, you had to receive this punishment. I cannot issue verbal warnings for mass RDM and even if I could, I would not, seeing as you clearly had no remorse, and intended to continue. SCP-409 does not change your mental state and make you murder your coworkers when you become an instance of 409-2. I think this is pretty self-explanatory, as I have never once seen any player take the actions you did in good faith as killing everyone in sight because you are turning into a crystal is not a logical action. If you were infected by some other terminal disease, would an average person simply begin murdering all of the people around them?

While I'm not sure if your actions were intentional or not, your lack of remorse says to me that you should probably serve out your punishment. I hope that you realize that while not every fathomable rule-breaking scenario is listed in the rules, a little bit of forethought and common sense will prevent things like this from happening.

I understand that you have to serve out punishment as it's your guidelines but I didn't know 409 wouldn't change your mental state as I never really read anything about it. + I was getting shot at by other personnel to begin with so, I thought I was gonna get killed by everyone else. I didn't Intentionally went out of my way to just get infected and start killing people. I thought like any other disease in this foundation, that you were allowed to. I sadly don't have a clip of when I saw this person named "Sergeant mr DOORS" take the same actions as I did(And Most of the time when people do this, no one even reports it cause some people don't know. They just think "oh it's an SCP"). I don't understand why you guys keep saying I have "lack of remorse" when I clearly said I didn't KNOW, you know I'm angry and confused(It's like telling a dog to sit but they never were taught what that meant or what that is). I don't know what else I can say but that I didn't know. I never would purposely kill people just for the fun of it and I'm sorry if it may seem that way. Obviously now I know I should think before acting when doing something like this. I hope it doesn't seem as I'm being rude towards you or anything. I understand you have a job to do and you must do what you think is right. All I can say is that I'm sorry and that I will never do such actions again. Please reconsider this punishment.

Thanks for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

After taking into consideration of your situation I have decided to reduce your ban. This is due to the fact that like other member of staff have pointed out in this ban appeal when you are infected with the Crystal which like Darkstar has pointed out does not change your mental state. Now the reason why I have decided to reduce your ban was due to the fact that this appear to be your first offense regarding this type of punishment and you did show a level of remorse in your latest reply.

I have reduced your ban from a 2 weeks ban to a 10 days ban from the day of the punishment which mean your ban will expire on 02/01/23

Please read SCP-RP Rules before resuming playing on the server
