What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition: In my opinion, the GOC's main goal is quality roleplay and interaction with surface groups, and I consider myself to be particularly proficient at the roleplay aspects of the server. As an Nu-7 I’ve gotten good experience with the civilians and the GOC. I feel like I can be a good roleplayer and soldier and provide help with negotiations and or doing tests on SCPs.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I think that the GOC is one of the coolest groups (both in aesthetics and general purpose)and I really enjoy their lore and their purpose in general, as well as their interactions with CI and the Foundation. I want to join the GOC because I would like to be seen and be heard more than I do at the Foundation and I would like to give it a shot. I think it's a great opportunity to get into a more serious and roleplay-oriented position and it's generally a better opportunity to show my skills and abilities. All in all, I think that I have all of the necessary abilities and I can use GOC as a learning experience.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The Global Occult Coalition was created with one sole and clear purpose in mind; to capture and neutralize anomalous entities, and protect humanity from them. The GOC saw how the anomalies could destroy or endanger humanity in the Seventh Occult War and got it in their minds that humanity's only hope against the paranormal and anomalous was its complete and utter eradication, not its containment and study.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS:
The PHYSICS Division is the GOC's action arm and is equivalent to the UN's Peacekeeping Forces, the 'Blue Helmets'. They observe, investigate and capture (or neutralize) Threat Entities (TEs). The Physics Strike Teams capture or eliminate parathreats, while the Physics Assessment Teams investigate and track them. An example of the Physics division in action would be an assessment team locating a TE in the wild, and the Strike Team moving in to capture and/or neutralize it.
PSYCHE:
The PSYCHE Division is the GOC's diplomatic arm and it is responsible for maintaining the peace between humanity and the paranormal, the anomalous. This can often include contact with other non-hostile anomalous groups, such as the Foundation. They also have two special teams; the Ambassadors and the Special Observers. The Ambassadors are the ones that maintain good relations with non-hostile anomalous groups, while Special Observers are tasked with investigating potential scientific findings that can involve parathreats. An example of the Psyche Division in action would be a Special Observer locating a parathreat and calling it in, while an Ambassador makes sure, diplomatically, that no other groups interfere in the find.
PTOLEMY:
The PTOLEMY Division is the GOC's research and support arm. They are tasked with supporting the other arms of the GOC and maintaining operations and organization - also known as OpSec (operational security). They are divided between Quartermasters and R&D. Quartermasters handle logistics and support of weapons and armor for the PHYSICS division and other members. R&D handles the development of new technologies and also directs and/or funds new research and development. An example of the Ptolemy Division in action would be a Quartermaster making sure a Strike Team is well-stocked, while an R&D studies something a Special Observer brought back from the field.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
First Mission: Survival
The Survival of humanity is the GOC’s main goal, ensuring the survival of the human race from all forms of parathreats is the highest held objective of the GOC.
Second Mission: Concealment
The GOC knows that knowledge of parathreats is a threat to the human society as a whole. Their second objective is to make sure humanity can sleep soundly and be unaware of the parathreats in the world.
Third Mission: Protection
The third mission is an extension of the first mission, that being to protect every individual human whenever possible (as long as it does not infringe on the previous two missions), including the GOC’s own operatives as every human life matters.
Fourth Mission: Destruction
As parathreats are a threat to humanity, the GOC is to take no unnecessary risks to save any Parathreats.
Fifth Mission: Education
The Fifth Mission of the GOC is to expand their knowledge of parathreats so they can understand how to handle/destroy any and all parathreats.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War: The Seventh Occult War had occurred on the backside of World War II. It involved the SS Ahnenerbe and the Thule-Gesellschaft trying to complete the Rite of Solomon which would cause the end of the world. After that was thwarted by the Allied Forces, the GOC was formed so that never happens again.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?: I like the fact that it's not just a “ Oh a CI shoot him” it's more about talking and negotiation and having a good roleplay experience. Also the GOC seems like the least evil and unethical as CI would like to weaponize the anomalies, and the SCP foundation wants to contain and research the anomalies while using humans as test subjects, MC&D just want to make money off of the anomalies. All of these groups are enabling the potential mass genocide of humanity. While the GOC wants to protect humanity and keep the population from knowing about the anomalies. I think in my opinion that terminating all the anomalies is probably the best way to keep humanity and everything on it safe. That is just my opinion.

Biographical Information: Larry was born in a small town up in the frigid cold of Alaska so it made him tough to the cold. Throughout Larry’s childhood he would be outside all the time so he was pretty fit when he became an adult. Larry mostly spent his time playing sports and always wanted to join the US Marine Corps. As soon as Larry got out of college he joined up in the Marines and did 2 tours of Iraq and Afghanistan. While he was away his parents unfortunately passed away he returned home to mourn his parents and then he chose to leave the Marines and was honorably discharged. Then a couple of weeks later he sees in the mail a letter from the United Nations and he said might as well give it a shot.
