What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I am capable of doing tasks assigned to me as well as rising to the expectations of others, I will always go out of my way to generally help people if I can. I understand a fair bit of assistant's tasks as well as how they should handle themselves and be professional during every situation. My position as ambassador has given me a great understanding of both the code of conduct as well as the code of ethics of which we are to uphold. From Internal Affairs I also have significant clearance level four experience and willingness to adapt to new responsibilities. I believe Internal Affairs Ambassador to be the best position for a candidate to have. Above all else, I believe the three exemplary qualities I possess are:
Impartiality;
- I have the ability to make judgements unbias no matter who they maybe on equally.
Adaptability;
- No matter what the occasion or challenge I am facing, I will have the ability to rise to.
Integrity;
- No matter the backlash or status of another person, what is right is right, I will not let anyone sway a decision based on what they say.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
In addition to basic clearance level four duties such as closing personnel wing bulkhead, generally helping out with newer foundation personnel, informing personnel where they should be if they are lost or forgot their own duties, ethics committee assistants are especially responsible for ensuring all orders from the ethics committee chairman as well as members are enforced and to snuff our corruption. Ethics committee assistants are personally tasked with writing a report on a department chosen by the ethics committee members for investigation, there is a two week time period for this investigation. The ethics committee can conduct audits and have department's offices searched for any possible evidence of unethical behavior. When no ethics committee or higher members of personnel are available, assistants can call for a sweep in d-block during a code 2, they can allow MC&D permits to enter the facility to sell their wares, they are responsible for interviewing personnel, last but not least, they have the ability to authorize advanced armory, issue orders to MTF Omega-1.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
"Vad" lived a rather quiet life, for his early years, growing up in Drammen, Norway. For a quiet kid who never really had his appeal in school, his eyes were set on making a change in the world, even if at the time he wasn't sure how. "Vad" was quite proficient with studying various language arts, on top of excelling at scientific studies. Those weren't things of interest to "Vad", unfortunately. With a of lack of interest in pursuing his studies, "Vad" enlisted in the Norwegian: Forsvaret, "The Defence" or otherwise known as the Norwegian Armed Forces.
"Vad" served in the Norwegian Armed Forces for around sixteen years, before being "dishonorably discharged". Reality of the situation was that "Vad" didn't actually take any actions that warranted a dishonorable discharge, and instead was a result of one of his commanding officers needing to cover up their actions. "Vad" sought the truth and dug deeper in a case that was not favorable to anyone in the armed forces. His digging would lead to a case that would spread like wildfire on the news.
The Foundation, hearing about this story reached out to "Vad" and offered him a position within the Foundation as Internal Affairs. Within his first week of being an IA agent in the Foundation, "Vad" proved his worth as an IA agent though his experience from the military and the insight that came with it.
As time went on "Vad" did outstanding work within Internal Affairs earning himself a revered position on the ambassador team, but his ambition made him strive for more opportunities, to become a true asset to the foundation.
