What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition: For over 15 years. I have been a detailed and avid role-player, ranging from multiple MMO's, Freeform story writing and multiple large scale groups. My love of immersion, mil-sims, and intricate storytelling makes me a valuable asset. The server has become a great point of interest for me playing in the last year, as I have really grasped onto the world and lore of SCP. GOC seems to be the deuteragonists of the world, serving as a mirror group to the Foundation, and I think the difference in lore, character building and playstyle would be a new great challenge for me in my writing.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: In my childhood I was obsessed with Tom Clancy books and occult literature. Another one of my favorite authors is Clive Barker, which his video game, Clive Barkers Jericho featured a small squad of Supernatural humans, Codenamed Jericho. They were the the elite squad of the Department of Occult Warfare to contain, Destroy and Maintain paranormal threats to humanity. Needless to say, this kind of literature is my absolute bread and butter.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?: The GOC was founded after a catastrophic event by Nazi Germany was tried and failed during World War 2., The GOC was founded shortly after to prevent, contain and destroy these supernatural anomalies to prevent such disaster from occurring again.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: The PHYSICS division is the militarized arm of the GOC, engaging in Anomalous Assessment to evaluate Parathreats and utilizing Strike teams to remove said threat. Assessment teams within the PHYSICS division may locate a UTE and work on assessing a proper threat level. Depending on this assessment a Strike Team may be deployed to remove the threat by any means necessary.
PSYCHE : The PSYCHE Division works on a logistical rapport level between the organizations under the umbrella of the GOC, including those that are also unaffiliated but non hostile. In addition it retains a sub-set of observationists tasked with keeping track of scientific and archaeological finds that may result in parathreats. For example, The PSYCHE Division may receive information from a non-hostile organization that a dig site has uncovered relics of unknown make and origin. An observer may evaluate and investigate said Relic. This communication and cooperation between organizations is absolutely vital to the logistics of the GOC.
PTOLEMY : Within any organization, Logistical distribution of supplies, equipment and research development is vital in the healthy progression of said Organization. PTOLEMY coordinates within the GOC to ensure equipment, funding, and supply chains are properly enforced. This goes down to the most basic level of Food service for the GOC's members to heading new research funds for weaponry and technology to provide to the 108 umbrella organizations. The Research and Development Subdivision may develop a new peace of weaponry or a support item, working to make it coincide with funding and distribution capability, tasking the quartermasters with distribution and normalizing its use within the GOC.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?: The Goals of the GOC coincide with the survival of humanity by eliminating Parathreats under a 108 member umbrella organization that is not tied to any governing body of political interest. All while continuing the concealment of the existence of these Parathreats unless absolutely necessary. The human race is a living oxymoron to the existence of the Paranormal. If destruction of the Para normal is required for our survival on the food chain, so be it. Through knowledge, Concealment, Protection and a vast array of technological advantages, The GOC protects humanity at any cost necessary, free from the bondage of national interests.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War: Prior to World War 2, A group of paranormal occultists managed to destroy an energy-based entity, causing a psychic energy event that affected most of the population. During the early days of World War 2, Nazi Germany attempted to use this energy in the Rite Of Solomon, Nearly causing a massive catastrophe for humanity. The GOC was formed after this event to prevent disaster and maintain the survival of humanity, being backed and funded by the United Nations.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?: I think it provides a stark contrast to most groups, namely the foundation as it provides an interesting world view of our existence. Its almost Darwinistic in nature that while groups like the Foundation are finding themselves nearly humbled by the existence of the Paranormal. The GOC are determined to use such knowledge of Parathreats to ensure that humanity survives at all cost. The interest and desire to continue relations and even utilize the paranormal as part of experimentation and furthering containment of dangerous specimens risks humanities existence on a frequent basis. The GOC acknowledges that humanity is not the Apex predator, and unlike the Foundation and other groups, understands that for the nature of our survival, the destruction and complete removal of threats is the only path towards a relevant future for Humanity. An excellent analogy was made in stating that while the Foundation focuses on what paranormal threats can harm us, The GOC focuses on how we can harm them.

His extended family had a storied military background, and to escape the rural nothingness of West Virginia, he joined the Marine Corps at 17 years old. Through years of Military service he was eventually trained as a member of the Marine Raider Regiment, 2nd Battalion lead by MARSOC for a six year period of service, eventually finding that his efforts were weighed too much on the political interest of his own country rather than a world-level. He left for the UN under the Department of Peace Operations, serving as an Infantryman for a span of two years.
During a peacekeeping border operation in Bulgaria, Franklin was exposed to a psychological occult and anomalous event after a firefight with Chechen Mercenaries. This event is unknown to the public and redacted in most government records. As the last surviving member of his team, He spent six months in a undisclosed mental hospital, and after recovery, subsequently recruited into the GOC.
