What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- I have extensive experience with CL4 and have managed 2 MTF regiments as well as a department as chief of medicine. As O-1 i have watched assistants and ethics carry out their duties many times and have helped them carry out such duties when asked. I have also seen people find many MANY loopholes to get around ethics (totally not as Nu-7) and I wish to at least attempt to secure those holes and make sure they are not seen as convenient workarounds but as dangerous risky exploitations that will be seen and punishments will be handed out. And they do say that the first step to defeating a problem, is knowing the problem. Something else I've seen is that people get assistant and almost never use it. The amount of times someone i know has just HAD an assistant role is above 5 and that is not an amazing number, as funny as it is. These people have the power assist ethics and actively choose not to, so i wish to be different from someone like that, someone who just gets the role and does nothing with it. I wish to use my powers as an assistant to try to help out ethics in any way possible and hopefully ill make myself useful enough to put an impact on site 56. That is all.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- To assist ethics by following any orders given to them and to manage the facility in ethic's place when they are no currently on site. This does not mean they can do everything ethics does when they are on site, this just means they may carry out the will of ethics when they are currently unable to. They also assist in helping departments they are assigned work properly and conduct department/MTF inspections on a routine basis.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Zala is a very strange individual. Coming to site 56 he had almost no idea what he was even doing, as most i guess. But he learned his way around with the assistance of a few very nice doctors and he chose to stay in the medical field for quite some time, eventually becoming a combat medic and assisting Nu-7 and E-11 with their daily duties. It took some time but there was eventually a tryout for Nu-7, so he took his chance and went for it. With some determination and an unhealthy amount of luck, he was one of 2 people who passed that day. From that point on he rose through the ranks of Nu-7 at a record pace, whenever his cooldown was off, he was promoted that same day for the most part. He kept on this pace until he was CSG and it took a bit, but one fateful day he was taken into the garage and promoted to a LT. He was quickly promoted to CPT, and then MAJ! In only a little over a month was he promoted to the top CO of his regiment. His main job was to manage the paperwork in the regiment. Make documents, keep the roster nice, and file LOA and ROA requests along with helping with the weekly meeting. He was also given the title of Chief of Medicine due to his knowhow of how the department worked and his ability to manage large groups. To this day, he still retains his title as Chief. After a while of thinking, he made the hard decision to attempt to leave Nu-7 to peruse O-1. He was taken shortly after and he managed to get in. After a few sorrowful apologies to his former comrades and a brief on his new role, he was ready to fully commit to O-1. He did his duties as a CSG and was eventually promoted to MAJ for his leadership skills and the respect he earned with his subordinates. He now continues to do the work as MAJ of O-1 but, he wanted to attempt to move up in the hierarchy, so he decided to make a ECA application and shoot his shot. That leads us to where he is now. Now he wishes to assist ethics more than he currently has the ability to do, and to try to make his mark on Site 56.
