- 2 Warns, 1 kick. Warn #1 I as a D class stabbed another D class during a riot, Warn #2 I as a researcher put on 035, I was kicked because my game was glitching and I asked the staff member helping me to do so.
What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
- I would like to head up research or medical as I have extensive experience working, with, as, and around research and medical. However it will be far from heartbreak if I am given any other role as I have worked in every possible field I can within the facility.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
- I can be on for extensive periods of time with most of my days free. I have a lot of experience with all fields within the facility, via working directly with or as them. I have had experience as an ethics assistant in the past as well as O1. I am capable of handling any potential tasks given to me by the director or completing tasks I need to do anyways rather quickly. If anyone needs ethics within the facility I can and will respond swiftly to assist them in any way possible, and as I have learned from playing I will make sure to account my life to not potentially lose a level 5 card.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
- The Ethics Committee’s responsibilities are too ensure that any and all actions made within the facility from one person to the entire foundation are ethical, such as overlooking cross tests researchers propose to ensure they are ethical, enforcing the COE and COC to the fullest, watch over MTF units and gensec to make sure they do not abuse the power they hold. In simplest terms the Ethics Committee makes sure the facility is ethical.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
- They handle applications for, Ethics assistant, Director of medicine, Director of internal affairs, and members of MTF O1.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in: Éléanor who has come to be affectionately known at the foundation as “D.O.C BOT” was formerly a product of the Anderson Robotics company and was primarily made as a medical defense unit, specializing in the protection, assistance and medical needs of whoever she was assigned to protect. Éléanor was initially assigned to protect a MC&D salesman on their financial ventures throughout the world, eventually ending up selling at Site-56. Once arriving inside of Site-56 Éléanor immediately became quite uncomfortable and agitated, as part of her standard operating system she was installed with a sort of “empathy” as well as a device to measure pain and suffering in sentiant individuals, and as Éléanor entered site her circuits became overloaded with a massive amount of sad, hurt or otherwise suffering individuals that she felt the need to help; this was strictly forbidden however due to her programming tying her to her MC&D agent. Due to an altercation between the salesman and a foundation personnel her escort a firefight broke out in which Éléanor's escort was shot dead and Éléanor was heavily damaged and shut down for several days. When Éléanor reactivated she had been equipped with a new directive, heal and protect the foundation members at all costs. With this new directive she was inducted into the medical department and due to her amazing medical skill and fighting ability was added as a member of the HH-3 task force to help guard foundation personnel and assist MTF units when needed. While working with the foundation has been a mostly positive experience for Éléanor it hasn't come without its issues and sacrifices…
On ██/██/████ after a major SCP-008 breach Éléanor was found collapsed outside of the hcz blast door heavily damaged, when repaired and brought back online Éléanor refused to answer any questions about what had happened to her and became very distressed whenever it was brought up, Éléanor was then shut down and her memory card searched through.
The recording starts with Éléanor and 5 E-11 entering hcz with the bulkhead being shut behind them, she was given a single order along with the rest of them, kill all 008 instances and anyone suspected of being infected by 008. Éléanor is assigned with 3 Bio E-11 to head to 008s main containment chamber so they can repair the doors and lock it down and close the well, at least that was the plan. As soon as they entered hcz all vision was extremely limited as thick black smoke spewing from 008s chamber had spread all throughout hcz. Everyone was quickly disoriented and soon Éléanor became separated from her squad, wandering alone trying to find her objective.

About every 20 feet it felt as if there was another, 008-2 instances kept popping up out of nowhere and catching her by surprise, at some points even seemingly uninfected people had tried calling out to her, but she knew they were lost to the gas and put them down accordingly. She hated it, she hated having to put down these people and going against her singular directive, every bullet fired felt like she was being attacked from the inside, nevertheless however she pushed on, only more people would get hurt if she allowed them to live, it needed to be done. Eventually, after what felt like an eternity of bloodshed and violence, Éléanor finally made it into SCP-008s containment chamber and managed to shut the valve. After finally shutting the valve she had to continue a sweep throughout the HCZ. In any normal scenario she would try to save as many people as possible, but in a nightmarish scenario like this, she could not take any chances. For hours She was combatting any and all zombies or even potentially infected individuals within the HCZ, at the end of her sweep she was found her gun destroyed, her fists covered in sickeningly rotted blood and flesh, her legs so damaged the last thing she managed to do before powering down was get to the HCZ bulkhead, using her hands to crawl the entire way.
After she was repaired Facility higher ups asked her to recap what had happened inside the HCZ, each time questioned she would either avoid answering directly or pretend to power down after they rejected her decline to answer. Eventually they decided to forcefully remove her hard drive to scour through the hours of recorded footage of her time within the HCZ. Some of the higher ups that had to watch the footage decided to look away to avoid getting sick.
After the incident she was informed that the initial breach was caused by a rogue dclass who had forced a cl4 foundation member (Identity unknown) to walk into SCP-008 and infect themselves. When later caught roaming pinewood and interrogated about this the dclass cited "Because fuck you and fuck this foundation, you've done so many horrible things to us why not get a little payback." When asked how he knew of SCP-008 they said "Because anything locked behind that high of clearance has to be dangerous." After these events and the D-class's reasons for causing such a tragedy Éléanor decided to look towards ethics and more specially being a member so no dclass or any member of the foundation would that matter would experience such maltreatment to lead to an event like this.
