Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?
- The main reason I'm applying for IA ambassador is because of the people found within the IA department. This department has some of the best people working in it. I genuinely enjoy working together with other agents and ambassadors and have met a ton of friendly people in IA. I see myself as somebody that is easy to work with and always looking for ways to improve myself, along with my department members. I'm well known around the site and constantly strive to help anyone that may need an agent at their service. I have learned a lot of useful skills as an agent and have adapted to the changing code of ethics/code of conduct. I'm confident in my ability to make arrests on foundation personnel while always maintaining a professional manner. Another big thing to me is respect. No matter who I may be dealing with I always manage to maintain a calm and collected demeanor towards everyone. I have a lot of patience to deal with uncooperative people and won't lash out or get mad at them. I'm understanding and will take the time to hear out anyone on issues they may be having. It doesn't matter who the person is, I will always have an unbiased opinion on all situations. I take RP very seriously and want to make sure everyone can have just as an enjoyable RP experience as I do. I also see the role of IA ambassador as one of great responsibility. I believe in my ability to use the IA ambassador job the correct way. I will be sure to always ask questions, memorize all the necessary documents in the IA department, and do everything in my power to be the best IA ambassador I can possibly be. I'd just like to finish up by saying I enjoy watching IA ambassadors do their job because I'm always watching and learning. We have some great leaders here in the IA department and I strive to be the IA ambassador that everyone looks up to. I want to earn respect from agents and operatives along with any other foundation personnel that I may come across. I'm a very hardworking and dedicated person and I hope I get the chance to show the foundation what I'm worth.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
- The reason I'm a suitable applicant for IA ambassador is due to my CL4 and MTF experience. My CL4 experience allows me to better understand my responsibilities bearing a CL4 position. This allows me to already have an idea of what is expected of me while operating as someone with CL4 clearance. I know how to act professionally and be a leader on site. Additionally, my extensive experience in the IA department makes me a perfect applicant for an IA ambassador. Secondly, my MTF experience as a NCO shaped me to be a leader. I know how to get people to listen to me, not just because I'm a higher rank telling them what to do, but because I earned their respect by being as helpful and friendly as I could possibly be to them. E-11 is almost like a family to me. We all have each other's backs and as an IA ambassador I plan to have all my fellow department members backs as well. If anybody ever needs help with something, has a question, wants to talk, or made a mistake, I'm always here to help out. Ever since I joined the IA department I have been learning, correcting, and perfecting my IA responsibilities. Since I'm currently an agent, I often work closely with Ambassadors which helps me to better understand their position here in the foundation.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
- I have not written any complete documents as of now. However, I have a couple of rough drafts I pieced together and haven't finished yet, mostly documenting what I could have done better while making an arrest, and what I did well in. In my opinion, the thing that makes a document "good" is effort. If you take the time to perfect what you're writing about and become an expert on it, chances are you will have written an amazing document. Sometimes it's not all about how many words you have written or how advanced your vocabulary is, it's simply about how much effort you put in. I believe that documents should look aesthetically pleasing, contain proper grammar, and be medium to long in length, rather than short. You want someone to look at your document as a reference or a good example. You don't want your document looking sloppy and thrown together. Whatever it is you're writing about, make it the best it could possibly be. Always strive for exceptional rather than acceptable.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
- The responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador are to:
-Make sure foundation personnel follow the legal codex/code of ethics
-Punish those who break the codex/code of ethics
-Train new agents in the IA department
-Oversee IA agents
-Deal with CL4+ internal affairs
-Write up documents such as arrest reports and incident reports
-Conduct official investigations
Please give some lore about your Internal Affairs Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- It was a beautiful day outside the iron fence of site 65, birds chirping, a light glaze of snow that had fallen onto the ground, and Nu-7 alert as aways. However, for Agent "Peasant", he had not seen sunlight in months. In fact, he had not heard the chirping of birds or smelled the faint scent of pine trees that surrounded the foundation in what felt like an eternity. Instead, Agent "Peasant" found himself in the personnel wing sitting across from the Director of Internal Affairs. The reason the Director was speaking with him was to discuss a possible "promotion" of some sort. But how did Agent "Peasant" end up in that situation? Well, it wasn't easy. It all began when Agent "Peasant" worked as a criminal investigator for the FBI also known as a "Special Agent". He was well established in the FBI and was known for being one of the youngest Special Agents in the FBI. It was March of 2018 and he had just turned 26. He had already been a Special Agent for a year now and was good at his job. One day however, the Director of the FBI decided to move the 26 year old rookie onto a new case. The Director saw potential in "Peasant" and wanted to see him work hard. The case involved a cult group that had all mysteriously perished due to unknown means. The cult group lived in the middle of nowhere on the side of a mountain. There were 16 fatalities total which meant the entire cult had been wiped out. What kind of deranged killer could do something like this? "Peasant" thought. "Peasant" took a look at the gory crime scene photographs and shuttered. He would be flying out to the crime scene tomorrow to see it in person. Once "Peasant" had arrived at the scene the first thing he did was look at the bodies. He wanted to determine cause of death and swab for any possible DNA samples. He noticed that the bodies looked to have been ripped apart and torn but there was no sign of a murder weapon. About an hour or two later, the DNA samples "Peasant" had taken were unidentifiable which puzzled him. "Peasant" cursed under his breath because his investigation had gone nowhere. There was only one place "Peasant" hadn't checked for evidence. In a secluded area of the cult's property stood a small shed with the door broken off and blood smeared across it. "Peasant" became uneasy and drew his Standard issue Glock 19 from it's holster. As he began to step onto the threshold, he could see the 16th dead body laying lifeless, covered in blood on the ground. He took a flashlight out and began to look for new clues as to what had happened. Nothing, until he saw a picture laying flat on a desk covered in little drops of blood. It was a picture of two of the cult members posing with shotguns. However, in the bottom right corner of the photograph, there was a section scratched out. He took the picture as evidence and left the scene with only one clue. However, "Peasant" had seemingly lost the picture somewhere on the way back and tried not to let the anger get to him. Later that day "Peasant" got a letter in the mail that had his name on it. He opened the letter and saw the words "S.C.P. Secure. Contain. Protect." As he continued to read, he saw that someone had written "The "killer" you're after is no man. That's for us to handle. However, we do need somebody like you handling things on the inside of our organization. More will be revealed if you accept this job offer". "Peasant" then resigned from the FBI and was sworn into the SCP Foundation as an IA Agent.
"So" said the IA Director. "You've been here a couple of years now and have been doing a superb job here in the DIA".
"Thank you, sir," replied "Peasant".
"I feel that it is time for you to move up. You have a lot of things waiting for you kid... a lot of things" said the Director chuckling.
