Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
I'm applying for Chief of Security as a result of me wanting to improve GenSec and continue the reforms from under Jack and Carter's tenure as Chief of Security.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:
I have been, in orchestration with Jack, in the reformation of GenSec to be more orchestrated towards Light Containment Zone and Code Response through the Tactical Response Team. I want to bring further reforms off to GenSec to let them start taking more responsibilities over garrisoning regions. I also want to bring further respect to GenSec in being able to exercise our authority in DBlock while assisting other combative departments.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:
My responsibilities as the Chief of Security in roleplay:
Alfie Bailey was born to a family in Boston, their native home – that wasn’t the Emerald Island from beyond the waves. They had left during the Great Starving of the perfidious Trevelyan in 1845, evacuating what was their God-given soil for New York City – the New World in all its opportunity. The family had continued, however, to tell tales of Ireland to their offspring, but also managed to gain more stories in 1861 when their new motherland separated in twine. Alfie’s ancestor joined the 69th New York Infantry, the Irish Brigade, and warred to the end of the War. This started off the tradition of every generation having some offspring joining the U.S. military in some regard.
Alfie joined the U.S. Army in 1998 just before the Twin Towers fell, intending on serving his country. For his contract, the man was a part of Operation Enduring Freedom, aiding in the dismantlement of the Afghani Taliban Regime. Yet, among the shattered compounds of Kandahar and the mountain passes near Tora Bora, Bailey’s unit would come across stories from locals about artefacts near villages that had never been touched by modern hands. Shepherds whispered of stones that bled light when struck and wells that refilled themselves overnight.
At first, the unit laughed it off. They were superstitions of a superstitious people, the kind of thing that came with little sleep. But soon, an incident outside Gardez came to light – with a patrol led by him finding a clay tablet half-buried in the dirt, covered in unrecognisable writing. Their interpreter refused to translate, claiming the words were “… not meant for speaking.”. The next day, a grouping of infantry disembarked from a black APC with gear that only served US Special Operations Forces (USSOF). They quickly took charge, having the paperwork for a ‘cultural heritage task force’, though was clearly completely overgeared for any expeditionary force of that purpose.
His unit was assigned to secure the outer cordon while the team moved in, with some civilian ‘historians’ in toe that carried some kind of canister. This was accomplished seamlessly, as the cultural heritage task force then pulled each of the unit’s members into a room, where they seemingly all forgot the transpiring events. All for Bailey, for when he was pulled in – he was in fact given an offer of joining a special task force called the ‘Special Collection Priority’ taskforce. He’d be tasked with aiding the researchers in testing these artefacts or “… going on your merry way, forgetting all that had just happened.”
The man signed the contract – and was whisked away to snowy Canada, where he remains.
STORYLINES:
My original intention has not changed. My aspirations as a captain has not changed.
Expand GSD responsibilities, resources, and allow them to progress beyond DBlock. Aid Janice Fremont and other RSD in their attempt to create more 'LARP' opportunities for RSD and for better interactions with it as a whole. Furthermore, support other departments in their interactions with GSD in a non-extractive way.
We need to do more as a whole, as the entry-level Combative Department we need to have more a presence across the site and with SOP. That was Jack and mine's want, stated multiple times in meetings and in chats - and I intend to fulfill.
