Why are you applying for the Director of Medicine?
I am applying for the Deputy Director of Medicine position as I wish to continue through the ranks of Site-56's medical department. Through-out my time as a CoM I have have trained over 30 new people to become doctors within the medical department and I have assisted many more with any medical related issues.
What makes you suitable for Director of Medicine?:
I believe I would make a suitable Deputy Director of Medicine as during my time as CoM I believe I have proven myself to possess excellent leadership, problem solving and teamwork skills among both the medical team and wider facility. Furthermore I believe I have proven myself to being one of the more active Chiefs of Medicine during my time in the medical department, at-least within my timezone.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Medicine in RP?:
The Deputy Director of Medicine's role is primarily to carry out orders from the Director of Medicine, when no direct orders have been given the Deputy Director of Medicine should oversee the operations of the medical department and the CoM's within it. Further responsibilities may include assisting in the training of new CoMs, training trainee doctors in the event there is no Chief of Medicine available and assisting the Director of Medicine with any duties they possess.
Please give some lore about your Director of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
After being recruited into the foundation as a trainee doctor, Alpa worked his way towards earning a medical license. After this, he spent years training for combat against hostile groups of interest as well as SCPs, upon completion of this training a promotion to combat medic was provided to him. During his time as a combat medic, Alpa served on the front lines of numerous CI raids alongside Nu7 and assisted E-11 in dealing with countless SCP breaches, providing medical assistance to anyone who required it while using his combat training to defend himself. Due to his work as a combat medic he was then promoted to Chief of Medicine and spent his time assisting new doctors and overseeing the medical department.
