Why are you applying for Site Advisor?

I am applying because I want to be one of the few people on the site who make a big difference for the entire site. I want to be able to make decisions that benefit the site and its personnel. I have always had a strong passion for doing administrative work that actually means something. I know how crucial it is for a department to have a strong connection to its governing body (SA), and I want to ensure that whatever department I am assigned to receives the curated attention that is required. This next reason very probably speaks to me personally because it relates to my experience and passion for Internal Security. I want to ensure that the policies of the site are just, clear and concise. I have seen too many situations of "that's just how it is." Each time I see it come back, it makes me strive to make a change to this problem that plagues our site. I understand that it is a large and strenuous task, but I want that challenge; I want to be in a position where I can make that change.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:

I am suitable because I am a current and very active member of the Sr. CL4 staff. I have great knowledge of all site-wide, publicly-accessible policies. I have plenty of experience with the site; I have seen not just what the lower foundation staff do, but I have also had a glimpse into what Class-A personnel do. With my experience as an Ethics Committee Assistant, I have gotten a closer look into higher operations. I have had the experience as a Commissioner making executive decisions affecting several members of the Site Personnel. As seen by my experience in a multitude of positions, I have received a drastic change of perspective, from that of an enlisted member of Nu-7 or E-11, all the way to Sr. CL4. I believe that this also supports my claim of being not just competent but fit for the role of Site Advisor.

It is clear, and I understand that the role of Site Advisor (along with any position within Site Administration) requires the ability to remain cohesive and professional. I know that I can act in such a way that reflects that. I have exhibited this behaviour when needed during my tenure as a Commissioner and in other miscellaneous roles. I strongly believe this claim can be backed up by not just my own word, but also by anyone who has ever professionally worked with me.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
The duties of Site Administration are as follows:
  1. Overseeing a department assigned to them over the period of a month.
  2. Proposing and giving input on Site Policies.
  3. Approving specific departmental operations.
  4. Ensuring active site policies are not outdated and are easy to understand.
  5. Managing specific systems overseen by Site Administration (like how weapon permits used to be done)
  6. Hosting meetings for Sr. Personnel
  7. Deciding department heads
  8. Managing GOI relations (when beyond the scope of DEA)
Of course, since I am not currently a member of Site Administration, I cannot be completely certain of what is included in the position, but whatever comes, I want to take the responsibility.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Ten years ago, Banko Phil was a regular citizen. He shot a man in Reno after Banko Phil was caught robbing a local convenience store and was sentenced to death row for second-degree murder and armed robbery. Then one faithful day, he was transported to another prison, except this wasn’t a normal prison. He was brought to Site-65 as Class-D personnel. He surprisingly survived through 4 tests and was granted a Low Security classification. From here, he only went through the much less dangerous work permit route. He served one year as a Class-D Trustee. He long ago realized that he was past his 30-day stay. But at this point, he found out from another Class-D that this would happen. After three years, Site Administration decided that they would do something they had never done before. They promoted Banko Phil from Class-D personnel to Class-C personnel. This meant he would start his work as a clearance 1 personnel. He was chosen for a position as a General Security Cadet. He was shamed for being a Class-D in his past by other security personnel. After 5 months, everyone started to get off his case about it and started treating him as normal. It took another 7 months to get a promotion to Guard. But from there, he was promoted pretty rapidly. Once he got to Officer, he decided to try out for the Internal Security Department. His reasoning behind this was to get rid of the corruption in this horrible, crime-ridden site. As Banko Phil went through his duties, he was able to learn pretty fast how to properly do his job through the materials set up for the ISD CL3 personnel. He went through the ranks of Operative to Investigator after being in the department for 3 weeks. He pushed for further documentation on how to be an Investigator and succeeded to a degree. From there, he knew he had quite the record, so he waited a week before he put in his application to become an Inspector. Because of his backstory as a Class-D, it was tough, but he passed the Inspector vote and achieved his rank.
While Banko Phil was performing an “advanced interrogation” on a Technical Expert regarded as a traitor after they had committed several horrible violations. The violations were: treason, first-degree murder, misuse of equipment, possession of improper equipment, and the entirety of Article One of the Legal Codex. The ethics committee member, mandated to supervise (a bit distracted), began to ponder the issue of a position that needed to be fulfilled.

3 weeks ago, an Ethics Committee Assistant was executed in the Omega-1 (Laws Left Hand) Interrogation room due to conspiracy to overthrow the Ethics Committee. Was it ethical? Yes, absolutely, if you know anything about Omega-1, you know that combat exclusions are their best friend. It’s not for the safety of the Ethics Committee (or at least not completely); it’s just a way out for the Ethics Committee to kill anyone they want. Even with that truth, it’s not like it’s bad; the Ethics Committee are the highest power; they will always give just explanations.

After the Tech Expert was dragged out of the interrogation room in the ISD offices, he was treated to medical care out of pure necessity. He was thrown in solitary confinement, barely well enough not to be considered “injured.” He was sentenced to 30 days in solitary confinement, the maximum sentence that can be issued.

The Ethics Committee member walked out of the observation room and asked the lead interrogator, Banko Phil, to follow him. They walked to the Ethics Committee Offices, through the core sector and into the well-guarded CL5 area.

“So, we at the Ethics Committee lost an assistant to a tragic accident; it was truly horrible,” said Ethics Member Huntsmen. He continued after a short pause, “You may be thinking: ‘What does this have to do with me?’ Well, I do have an answer (and a good one). Due to his absence, we are looking for a new Ethics Committee Assistant, and I think you are the perfect candidate.”

The Inspector didn’t say a word; he was going to accept the offer, but he bit his tongue. After all, the Ethics Committee Member hadn’t officially extended the offer quite yet.

On the contrary, Mr. Huntsmen thought he had given a proper extension of the position. He spoke up, impatient of the Inspector's silence, “Well? Do you want the job?”

The Inspector finally said, stuttering, “Oh yes. I thought you were going to say more…” He paused for a moment before continuing, not attempting to waste Mr. Huntsmen's time, “Do I start now?”

“Sooner or later.” He stood up and walked out of the room.
Banko Phil, an ISD Commissioner, sat in his office typing on the computer, working on some miscilanious paper work. After a while of typing, he saw the time in the corner of the terminal, 15 minutes past the time his lunch break started. He usually skipped and just ate whenever, but for some reason today, he wanted to take a walk. As he walked out of his office, as he was about to enter the code to close the door, he saw a new file in the half-open "Commissioner Mail" cabinet. He paused as he was about to enter the digits into the keypad. He thought he should probably check the mail first, just in case he needed to grab something after he got information about whatever it was in the cabinet. He picked up the envelope. The subject through the plastic window on the envelope read "Site Advisor Application Result." Banko Phil was the only ISD Commissioner who applied for Site Administration this round... He walked back into his office and sat down, staring down at the letter in his hands. He carefully opened it, and his application was?

+ Support, He's super good at his work within ECA and ISD and extremely active, he's always on site when I am so I get to see his work quite often. I think he'd be a good pick for SA
