For how long have you played on CG SCP: Ive played for about a week and a half
Age:18
In what country are you located?: Located in Canada
Time zone: MST
Character name(s): Sr. Researcher Amanda Brown
Civilian name: Amanda Brown
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP -RP USA
Do you have a mic?:
-Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-None as I have only been playing D-Class and Researcher Roles
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-A few warnings for my name and one for misconduct within the first few days, nothing else after that.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- To educate, inform and understand. Education and mentorship are extremely important too the foundation, I'd go as far as to say it relies on it. Allowing me too properly Inform and mentor the newer or less experienced personal in the facility will not only improve the foundations performance, but its ability to operate efficiently as well. Secondly informing personal of the many many functions and parts of the facility, including SCP's, will allow a greater expanse of knowledge as well as safety and security within it. Not properly informing all necessary personal of risks, dangers and regulations is a problem in the facility, not only I, but other sometimes even more experience researchers have encountered. Thirdly understanding anomalies is one of the biggest parts of my job, its what I've spent most of my time in the research division doing and its something far more important then I could comprehend.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
-I'm an amazing mentor, I've taught numerous Jr's and Sr's alike. I always make sure too answer any questions any of the personal who may need my assistance (as long as its allowed in they're clearance). As well I value the D-Class personal life immensely, In some cases I've even risked my own to save there's. As well I'm online quite often and always make talk to any researchers or other personal who may need my help. I have an extensive knowledge of chemicals as well as procedures, guidelines and rules. This has allowed me to conduct countless extremely useful experiments, most of which resulted in zero unpredicted casualties.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
-Only one as of right now but I am in the process of making many more. It's called SCP 106 Sampling procedure. Making a document excellent means that it must include concise, grammatical, punctual, and professional explanation of what went on during your test. In my personal opinion, I believe adding heart to your document will further make the document excellent. Barely attempting to follow proper formatting and protocols in document creation is usually a sign of lack of motivation, as the best documents in the records will have passion for the test performed with a sense of professionalism. This shows the brightest parts of a researcher’s ability to the foundation. The more dedicated a researcher is, the more potential they have to excel in their duties. Documents should still have a list of participants, materials used, and above all clearance cited and signed for within the research division guidelines.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
-Executive researcher is an extremely sought after position in the foundation. Therefor all executive researchers must understand the role that they play and the responsibility that comes with being in such an important command role . The most notable responsibilities would have too be they're role as and enforcer of site rules, regulations and ethics issues that may come up during they're time. It's also important to understand they're role as mentors and teachers of newer research staff, this includes answering all they're questions, following them during tests and making sure that they understand and thoroughly know all regulations and codes of conduct that may apply to them. Some of the other responsibilities are the authorization of safe testing, grading documents, and keeping all research personnel safe and on the path to further success. Doing all of this will increase moral and productivity of the foundation, as that is the role of the Executive Researcher.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Amanda Brown was first born in a tiny fishing town the freezing north of Nunavut, Canada to a small Inuit family. During her early years she was taken by the mounted police and placed in a residential school just off the cost of the Hudson Bay, more then 500km away from her home. This school was named Chesterfield Inlet, or as her and her classmates called it Turquetil Hall. During this stay she was given the name Amanda Brown, she has since forgotten her real name, birthplace, language and nearly all members of her family. The only good thing to come out of her stay at this school was her newly discovered fascination with science and the occult. Once she left Turquetil Hall she moved away from Nunavut and began school in the University Of Manitoba where she then learned an extensive background in science, Biology and the occult studies. Soon after she wrote her first paper proving the existence of anomalous matter the foundation took notice of her and hired her as a part of the chemical research team in site 17 where after two years of getting nowhere with her work she requested too be moved too the site we're at now. Site 65.
