Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I was a prior Security Captain at one point. I remember helping out new GENSEC Cadets and others. I very much enjoyed doing this and I was always delighted to see them move on. New GENSEC personnel will keep coming to the foundation as they are the bread and butter that keeps D-Block in tact allowing all other departments, projects, and operations to move forward. However these can not move forward if D-Block is staffed with untrained GENSEC. Not to say that is it because the current Security Captains and Chief of Security's do their job well. But just like how new GENSEC come to the foundation Security Captains can leave or change position in the foundation. I would love to be apart of the next wave of Security Captains that together might not be the best but will still make a positive difference.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
Previous Security Captain Experience
As a previous Security Captain I believe that I can use my past knowledge to manage D-Block in a efficient manner. Despite the short while I held the Security Captain position I still learned a lot about D-Block and how I can most strategically position and inform fellow GENSEC personnel. I am relatively confident in my ability to Sweep D-Block, host RRT or HWL tryouts, deal with COE or COC violations, and overall manage and ensure D-Block is running smoothly.
All Around GENSEC Experience
Despite the leave of absence from GENSEC I believe I still retain all of my previous knowledge and experience. Even today while not recently I have still spent most of my time at Site-██ inside the GENSEC department. However occasionally I do come down to D-Block to assist as an MTF unit. This helps me keep up to date with new information or rules and also stops me from getting stale of how D-Block works.
New Tactics and Measures I Have Learned
Being a part of the MTF group B-1 I have learned some helpful tactics that I whish to spread to all GENSEC personnel. These procedures or tactics can help D-Block in emergencies and minimalize death tolls. One easy start would be by teaching different firing lines or formations to GENSEC as this would help if D-Class breach airlock and a mass term is called or if a hostile SCP subject were to reach D-Block. Another thing to teach GENSEC would be breaching technique as it would help them sweep inside D-Block and inside D-Block cells faster which minimizes risk. With the extensive number of GENSEC personnel inside the department it would be very challenging to inform them of these tactics and near even more to train them however it is not completely impossible.
Apology for my past actions
I am aware it is not wise to add information that is not asked for into an application however I though it best and mature to address why my Security Captain position was taken from me and also so I can apologize. I did not realize in the moment but afterwards that I had completely disrespected the entire Nu-7 regiment by sending that message. That is something I need and desire to work on "Thinking before acting". It was wrong and ultimately led to the removal of me from the regiment and the demotion from Security Captain. I completely regret what I said and I only thought right of it because of the reputation Nu-7 gets. However I learned something and that is to never be disrespectful despite the circumstance because Nu-7 is as good as any other regiment defending the site everyday from surface threats and anomalies.
(Context: Sent a message into the Nu-7 comms discord referring to the regiment as inferior to the others which led to the removal from said regiment and demotion from Security Captain.)
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?
Preforming Sweeps
A sweep is usually preformed to remove the flow of weapons, keycards, and other contraband inside D-Block. There are other reasons like hostage scenarios or if a SCP is inside D-Block and is it not leaving but regardless a sweep can not fail. A Security Captain must know how to preform one at the very basics so that a emergency can be concluded and the site can commence all other operations normally.
Hosting RRT and HWL Tryouts
RRT tryouts must be preformed weekly to ensure we always have a ready to go team that responds to a code 2. HWL tryouts also need to be preformed weekly as so GENSEC can hold and use heavy weapons responsibly ensuring no accident occurs. These tryouts need to be taken seriously and done correctly so that both of these previous statements are true and if so D-Block will be in good hands.
Lecturing or Informing Fellow GENSEC Personnel
Knowledge is the very important no matter which position you are in .However speaking in term of the GENSEC department it is very important that they have need to know information about D-Block in their head as it will help them run D-Block more efficiently. Knowledge regarding this should be spread by a Security Captain by either hosting lectures or by simple word to word contact anywhere.
Running D-Block
When there is no current emergency or when not preforming any of the other responsibilities a Security Captain should watch over D-Block. Stepping in to help others and organizing GENSEC personnel when need be. This minimizes the risk of an emergency occurring and ensures all GENSEC personnel are preforming optimally.

Personnel Log: GENSEC Riot Security Sergeant "Blu"
Name: Jack B. Brian
Codename: "Blu"
Height: 5'11
Weight: 147.4lbs
Age: 24
Birth Date: 12/29/1998
Nationality: USA
Clearance Level: 3
[Background Description]
Jack B. Brian was born in Wainwright, Alaska into a middle class family of five with two parents and three siblings. Jack did not have much of
an early life experience that other kids his age had. In Alaska it was too cold to play outside, school was often cancelled, and his town was
very unpopulated. All Jack could do was hope for an offer to leave Alaska and when one was presented he would take it. After Jack turned
21 he found a gig as a prison guard in a newly constructed maximum security facility. This new prison was put in place by [Deceased] Chief
of Security █████ ███ as a way to recruit new GENSEC personnel and to replace the 39 lost lives during incident ██. The prison was still
in Alaska however it was much further south and even 2 hours within a city named Valdez. The job offered good pay and free housing for
employees as a way to attract many new recruits for the Foundation. Jack gave into this too good to be true job, quickly signed up, and was
moved into the new prison via helicopter with all the other recruits. The majority of people at the prison had prior experience in the military
or at other prisons but Jack was apart of the few that did not. However regardless of their experience everyone had to go through
mandatory training to work at the prison. Tactics that are very similar of which the SCP Foundation uses were taught and advanced
weaponry was used by everyone. Training was not intended to be tough or used to weed out the weak. It was simply to teach all recruits so
if an opportunity is given to join the SCP Foundation in the GENSEC department training would not be needed. Then after 2 years of
training and working the SCP Foundation sent in [Deceased] Site Advisor ████ who was escorted by one MTF █-1 codenamed
"███████". All guards were given the chance to join the Foundation but information regarding the job was minimal because permission to
use Amnestics was not granted. Due to this Jack was skeptical of the job offer and denied it however after hearing that the facility was
located outside of Alaska he accepted. Jack would soon learn that Site-██ is farther away from civilization and colder than any place he has
been but unfortunately he had already signed up.
[Current Status]
Jack B. Brian started to ease up to the SCP Foundation after 2 months and trusts it with his life. However ever since incident ██ when the
███████ ███████ was activated and the facility was evacuated his mental health has declined significantly. Multiple GENSEC
personnel who he was close with were killed by SCP's in front of him. Other personnel he was acquainted with were found missing after the
███████ ███████ was activated.

██-6: "Sir, MTF █-1 found a possible threat when supervising D-Block."
A folder can be heard sliding across a desk
██-2: "Riot Sergeant... Mental health issues... Intrusive thoughts..."
██-6: "We believe with his mental state he will kill himself and take other foundation members with him."
██-2: "Notify the MTF █-1 commander and plan his assassination. Nobody finds out."
Someone can be heard clearing their throat from across the room
██-1: "Could I perhaps add something to the situation?"
The room is silent but agreeance is clear
██-1: "This man seems to be of high value and could possible lead GENSEC. Why not subject him to SCP-999 therapy?"
██-2: "All due respect, but that boost of morale would only be temporarily."
██-1: "Perhaps we could bring in real therapists, I'm sure other personnel could benefit from that."
██-2: "Again respect, but that would take months even years and we would need to administer Amnestics to the therapists everyday unless
we add a new division or departments."
██-1: "Then do what you must. ██-6 cancel the plan for an assassination."
A door opens and someone steps out of the room
██-6: "One of the █████████ left the audio recorder on."
██-2: "That's fine, leave it on I got some ideas for this Riot Sergeant"
The intercom startup sound can be heard throughout the facility as the lights go out
Intercom Voice: "This is not a drill. Door control and light system failures have been detected. Multiple SCP's have already breached
containment. All combative personnel report to Heavy Containment Zone. Emergency Response Teams have been called. That is all,
Godspeed."
There is a sense of urgency in his voice
██-2: "Turn the audio off, put this project into the hands of clearance level 4 medical personnel I'm sure they know enough. Hurry now we
have to get to..."
