Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for Site Advisor because I am looking for a position that gives me more opportunities to create and participate in roleplay across the entire site, rather then just surface specifically. I have spent a significant amount of time working with External Affairs, and I feel that I have accomplished most of what I originally wanted to accomplish within the department. Rather than continuing to focus primarily on improving DEA, I would like to move into a position where I can involve myself with a much wider range of departments and opportunities.
I have previously held Site Advisor, and one of the things I enjoyed most about the position was the freedom it provided to participate in different areas of the site. As Site Advisor, I would not be restricted to the RP of a single department or specific role, which gives me considerably more opportunities to help develop RP across the site. I want to be in a position where I can walk into Medical, Research, or another department and have a reason to interact with them, rather than only interacting with people when something specifically involves DEA. I also want to be able to take my ideas I have of site wide projects/roleplay and actually develop them.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
I believe I am suitable for Site Administration because of the range of experience I have gained throughout my time on Civil. I have held leadership positions in several different areas of the Foundation, including Site Administration. This has given me the experience with both non-combative and combative sides of the server, rather then just one departments perspective.
Since I have previously held the position of Site Advisor, I already have an understanding of what is expected from Site Administration and how the position functions. Since my previous tenure, I have gained considerably more experience in leadership, particularly through my time as Director of External Affairs. Another reason I believe I'm suitable is that I am very focused on making things happen. I do not like sitting in a position and waiting for something to happen around me. I try my best to actively search for ways to interact with people on site whether that's working on a project or general roleplay. I believe this is particularly important for Site Administration, as the position has the ability to create RP opportunities across the entire site rather then just being limited to one department.
Overall, I understand that Site Administration is a position that represents the Foundation as a whole, and I am confident that I can bring the experience and activity needed to contribute effectively.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
There are various different responsibilities for Site Administration in roleplay but some include:
- Allow others to create roleplay. Site Administration has the ability to enhance others roleplay and should use that to the absolute maximum.
- Create Roleplay Scenarios.
- Be involved in discussions regarding Departmental Director Applications, Site Administration Applications, or other general initiatives/changes.
- Vote on policy changes.
- Oversee and assist their monthly assigned department.
- Approve roleplay and/or documents.
- Assisting with the betterment of GOI relations.
- Authorizing AA or Deploying ERT when absolutely necessary in breaches or severe situations.
- Communicating with Departmental Leaders
