Steam ID: 76561198787771655
Discord name: hillbuddy (Hillbilly)
For how long have you played on CG SCP: 16% of "Play for one year" achievement.
Age: 16
In what country are you located?: USA
Time zone: Mountain Standard Time
Character name(s): Caesar Kuznetsov
Civilian name: Buster Grimes
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: Executive Researcher
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: One warning for NLR, I believe it was about 7 months ago as a GENSEC SGT against a D-Class in SCP-914.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I am applying for Executive researcher because I want to help the research department grow, and I was advised by the Dpt. Director to apply for the Executive Researcher position. I want to mentor & guide Jr. researchers into becoming Sr. researchers, and increase the quality of the servers RP. I also wish to fix mistakes I made in the past.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I believe I am suitable for the Executive Researcher position because I have held the Executive Researcher position on and off previously, and loved doing it. When I had the role, I did lectures & presentations almost daily, and even did so after I lose my Executive Researcher position. Additionally, I have knowledge on wiki syntax, SFM, Pac3 porting, and game development, and will be using these qualities to assist Research by creating media around the Department.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I have written, so far, around 5 excellent documents as a researcher. Most of my previous experience came from mentoring, shadowing, and generally assisting in maintaining the Dpt, so I was left with very little time to do my own projects. As for the second question, as stated in the ScD policy, "it must also be formatted to include an Index, the general information about the SCP, the aims of your experiment, the methods you will take, the participants, and the findings / conclusion." These qualities are what make a document excellent.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
The responsibilities of Executive Researcher include mentoring, shadowing, and generally acting as someone to look up to in research. It is also important that Executive Researchers be calm and patient with newer and even senior researchers when they make mistakes, and allow them to blossom either in the Research Division, or allow them to sprout into other roles with their newfound knowledge on how the site functions.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Here's some lore, and as for storylines, I'd like to keep it brief and simple, as I think high quality RP is easier in short form. Perhaps long-term storylines would involve interacting with projects others are doing and or seeking thaumaturgical anomalies.
