What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- Even though I may not be the greatest person for the job, I think I am a good fit. I believe that my level of activity, experience, and familiarity with the CoE makes me a strong contender for this role. Starting with activity, I am generally online every day and have plenty of time to be online. I normally stay online for around 3 to 4 hours each day, but I am easily capable of being online longer when needed. I have previously served as a Captain and CoS for quite a while, this experience allowed me to become rather knowledgeable of the Code of Ethics as I had to teach others about it as well. Since I have came back to the server I have spent most of my time working with the Internal Security Department which has also grown my knowledge of the CoE and got me up to date after my hiatus. I have read over the documents multiple times and even have been able to properly teach others about parts of the Code of Ethics. I also believe I am a good candidate because of my maturity, and professionalism. I am able to conduct myself in a professional manner when needed. I also am able to provide a good example to those around me. Lastly, my prior experience would be greatly beneficial to me if I received this position as I would require far less training as I have held this position previously.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- The main task given to Ethics Assistants is to assist members of the Ethics Committee. The main way they do this is by taking orders and completing tasks given to them via members of the committee. This can include writing documents, conducting interviews, or even just looking for ethics violations and ensuring people are being ethical.
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- When 'Viper' was growing up he always did rather well in school, he started college at the age of 16 and was heavily invested in Criminal Justice. He was also very involved in his local Police Departments where he became a Police Cadet. After years of dedication in the Cadet program and at College 'Viper' had received his Masters in Criminal Justice. A job opportunity had also opened at the Police Department so he had decided to apply. Obviously 'Viper' was quickly offered a position and given the opportunity to go through the Police Academy. Approximately 8 weeks in he was secretly offered a job within some foundation he had never heard of. It quickly intrigued his interest and he was informed there would be opportunities to be involved with Police style work with even better pay (he was lied too). 'Viper' quickly caught onto this field of work and was promoted to Sergeant in no time. This quickly grew into Captain and before long 'Viper' found himself with the job title of "Chief". After spending years in this position he strived for something more, and as a result decided to enter himself in for the position of "Ethics Assistant" He was quickly accepted and held the position 2 different times. After a break 'Viper' is back and has decided to enter his name in for an entry spot in the Ethics Committee yet again.
