What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the chance to join the Ethics Committee as one of its members, because I want to help introduce, develop, and encourage new roleplay on a larger and more impactful scale than I currently can as a Site Advisor. While my current position allows me to support members & regiments while providing guidance, becoming Ethics would give me the opportunity to be more directly involved with shaping the direction of roleplay across the entire site as a whole.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:

I believe that with my current experience as an Ethics Assistant, combined with Site Admin, it has allowed me to learn not only how Ethics works as a base, from working as an Assistant, but also what is expected of Foundation Command using experience gained as Site Admin, not only in the eyes of other players, who may be coming to me for questions, or want help with their RP experiences but also in the background with decisions that need to be made, and discussions to better the RP loop of the whole site . As a Site Advisor I learned how to be more hands off which was a must when helping with departments while ensuring the quality RP expected of those departments. I am passionate about creating scenarios that capture peoples interest's and encourage them to interact with the scenarios, whether their character believes in whatever it may be or is against it, to provide quality RP that builds up characters. I enjoy turning the daily situations that may be mundane and boring into something that can be fun with a bit of RP, which I believe to be an important piece of an effective Ethics Member.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
making sure the Coe is followed through out the site
Upholding the FLC and editing when necessary
Overseeing ISD
Aiding in tribunals when needed
Authing ERT when need
AA auth
Nuking site when server health is declining
Giving objectives to O-1/ECA to complete
Granting work permits

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what
applications do they handle?):

Selecting new DoISD applications
Accepting or denying ECA and ECM applications
Creating RP around the site
Handle demotion appeals at a certain lvl

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in:

I be honest with you. You were a cool E-11 Com, can’t deny that.
But ECM is lvl 5 stuff and rn I don’t think you got enough experience for that yet.

You tried a lot to become SA and I respect the effort. I just think it would be better to try going Manager first, get more experience there, then maybe go for ECM after.
No hate or nothing just saying

My only gripe is more experience on SA. There's more to be learned on SA and it would drastically shift your opinions on what you want out of your next step. If SA is boring or not something you align with now I don't believe you'll carry different emotions towards the next step. My personal recommendation is to get some ground first on SA and really get a feel for what you want.

Will say that the experience needed for a CL5 role is just CL4 experience, I can see you've held E11 Commander (Senior CL4) and currently SA which is good.

I'm not going to leave a - or + support but rather advice. My advice would be to focus on expanding your roleplay with either on the spot roleplay or possibly projects that could lead up to long term roleplay. And of course the application itself is a bit lacklustre, if you want to be a CL5 you should really do your best to sell yourself by expanding the application. Lore document is good, you can always toss in roleplay that has happened into there in.

You're a good chap Chub, I'm sure you would make a good ECM but as I said you just gotta show why you would be a good ECM. My dms are always open if you're looking for advice or such.

Within my first couple of days in SA, this man has answered most of my questions that I've had.
In the past even, this man was a great fella with a good devotion to what he does.
He has passion, drive & does an excellent job at being professional & responsible in his area.
I have the utmost respect for men like him, one who puts their time and effort into making departments - and people that he goes to - inspired and fun for others.

I am going to be blunt, I feel Chub is better at doing the work then talking about how he can do the work. You put him somewhere and put him to work, and it just works.
