Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
Yes, probably only 3.
- RDM, February 2022 -
back when you couldn't self-defense yourself as a non-combative and it was an admin situation, not RP one (ISD come and judge you)
- FailRP, May 2022 - jumping at a table to escape 008s whilst in combat.
- FailRP, February 2023 - can't remember what it was.

Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
Hello Foundation! You may have already seen me multiple times in the operating suite performing and documenting tens of autopsies. It feels unnatural for me to write an app, as I would never imagine sticking in medbay for longer than just a rare illness checkup visit. But it happened - Coroner happened.

Throughout my mostly Coroner activities on the server, I learnt that I'm really interested in this - it's not just a short-term activity. Documents, rules, and logic are very interesting for me, so hopefully I'll bring a lot of experience and knowledge to the Special Procedures sub-department [specialization (?)].

When I see someone who needs to be trained or get their Combat Medical license, I feel genuinely sorry for them, as I cannot help in any way.
Becoming a Medical Consultant may bring lots of backstage work to the spotlight, and I want to present it in the best way possible.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I love documents, paperwork, and general 'backstage' activities, which aren't that popular among other people. Thanks to this + patience, I will expand my documenting/templating skills beyond coroner-related activities.

I do love being a coroner. It's one of the best activities/RP I have ever done - chill, peaceful, but also fun to create short stories about people that lie before me in the morgue. And who knows, maybe my love for this duty will bring some freshness and positive changes to the Site's medbay.

Despite this, I'm active during other CL4+ absences, most likely due to the timezone difference, so I can fill the lack of CL4+ personnel in the foundation.

PS. I'm a positively self-conscious person, so if, by any chance, I feel like this position isn't a perfect fit for me, I will let the higher-ups know what's up, not just disappear for months without a word or feedback.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Autopsy is a very long process, made of multiple smaller and wider steps that cooperate with other procedures, so I'll try to minimize the description to an 'enough' level, but I can't promise anything :^)

1. Before Responding
Sanitize the operating room/morgue for future incidents.
Execute casual doctor duties.
Prepare for the incoming incidents (gearing up with scrambles, armor and camera if possible, as the locations that you have to go to are sometimes very dangerous).

2. During Responding
After receiving the 'callout', we respond to the location asap. As we get closer to it, it's good to start observing the area around the death scene for bullet holes, items, blood and other possible evidence related to the incident.
Once we arrive at the location, make sure to photograph everything before tending to the body - thanks to this, we have an untouched area that will come in handy when reviewing the visuals once you're back in the medbay's morgue/operating suite. It's also good to take note of the time and location as this will be needed for the documentation later.
Questioning the witnesses is very important, as it may clear up many questions that arise throughout the investigation.
Once we collect the body, it's important to choose the quickest and safest route back to the morgue, as we don't want any interruptions or body deformations to happen mid-journey.

3. After Responding
We place the body bag with the decedent on the table, unzip it and take more photos of their body. Next, we have to sample the body's dirt, blood, fluids and other matter.
After securing, sampling and documenting everything, we're free to clean the body off dirt, blood, anomalous entities, etc.
Next, we document the body once again, as the possible wounds/body marks (tattoos, birthmarks, scars, etc.) are clearer to see.

4. Autopsy
First, we collect as much data about our decedent as possible, including:
- their name
- age
- sex
- department (or GOI)
- rank
- time of body being found
- location
- time of body reception
- who brought the body
- a possible story leading to their death (witnesses, coroner's deduction)
- medical history (pre-existing conditions, medications and treatments)

Secondly, we perform
External Examination - we check for their ID (or browse SCP Foundation's employee database if the body or it's remaining parts/ash if very hard to measure):
- body length
- weight
- physique and nutrition (+ birthmarks, scars, tattoos, etc.)
- pallor mortis
- algor mortis
- rigor mortis
- livor mortis
- decomposition stage and characteristics
- clothing
- other items of their belonging
This process is called 'External Examination' as we examine the body and its appearance before proceeding to its insides.

Thirdly, the
External Injuries shall be documented. Everything we can see should be documented and written down so we don't skip anything, whether we think it may or couldn't correlate with one's death. For this purpose, we have to:
- photograph the wound
- measure the length/depth of the wound
- name the wound (f.e. abrasion, laceration, incision, stabbing, gunshot wound)
- describe each instance and, if possible, find some correlations between them, for example,
Gunshot Wound: Entrance and Gunshot Wound: Exit

At this step, if the body is severely damaged, we may sum up multiple wounds into one description, for example, 'The body has been skinned, no outer layer of tissue left'.
- look for patterns, for example SCP-096's incised wounds based on its fingers (usually 4-6 cm), or SCP-049's 'medicine',
- defense wounds if present, describe

Fourthly,
imaging the body.
We will usually use X-ray, CT/MRI for body scanning, based on its condition and cause of death, f.e. anomalies. Next, like in the third step, we write down everything we find out + correlations. The best example for this would be bullet trajectories, long sword (SCP-7722's, SCP-076-2's) wounds and other anomalous activities, whether UV-reactant or not.

Fifthly, the
Internal Examination
This long process is divided into body regions:
  • A. Head Region, consisting of:
- Skull
- Brain
- Neck

  • B. Thoracic Region:
- Heart
- Lungs
- Chest

  • C. Abdominal Cavity:
- Liver
- Kidneys/Spleen
- Pelvis/Spine
- Lower Abdomen and 'pp-area'

  • D. Other Findings:
- Limbs
- Bones/Joints
- External Bodies (for example, bullets, parts of swords, bolts, etc.)

When going through each body part, we should remember to have a magnifying glass, transparent glasses, an apron, and other blood-resistant clothing and items, as we have to open this and that to inspect everything thoroughly. A camera is a very useful tool for documenting everything as well.
In case we don't see any significant trauma dealt to one part (f.e. neck), we put 'No significant trauma', thanks to this, we won't skip any body part.

Sevenly,
Toxicology sampling:
- Blood
- Urine
- Vitreous humor
- Hair
- Nails
- Anomalies
- other fluids/matters that can be related to the death

Once we gather and secure all of the matter, we can go to the chem lab to learn more about them, f.e. if someone had certain illnesses, if SCP did something more to them, how their body reacted to the environment (hormones), etc.

Eightly, it's time for the
Medical Opinion. This step is very tricky, as we may think that after spending a few hours with the body, we already know everything - this is very subjective. To fight this, we need to go through the documentation once again, to make as objective statements as possible:
- make sure the documentation is objective and well-documented
- all body parts are back in the body (if possible)

Once everything of the above is done, we can continue to the last of the last step. For this, we need to write our reasoning for one's:
- cause of death - describe what led to one's death. Don't put too much detail but also don't skip important evidence backing up your thoughts.
- manner of death - was is natural, an accident, a suicide, a homicide or maybe undetermined?
- nature of injuries (antemortem or postmortem)
- time since death, based on rigor mortis, livor mortis, ..., and environmental factor(s) like temperature, humidity, anomalies
- sign the document

Phew, that's a good brief of what you do in case somebody dies :^) (If you are to RP everything from the above, the autopsy can take up to 4+ hours).

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- Training new Medical Personnel (Trainees),
- Training new Combat Medics,
- Overseeing all medical parties to perform up to our standards,
- Executing casual CL4+ duties (Blast Doors, Electrical Center, helping lower CL personnel from other departments),
- Participating in the CL4+-related site/department-wide activities,
- Other duties related to the specialization of one's choice.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jamesus Aubergine Meisner, known as JAM, began his Foundation career at Wymiarowy Ośrodek Wysokiego Nadzoru PL-174-one of the most advanced and high-security SCP facilities in Poland. Site PL-174 specializes in the containment and research of interdimensional and reality-altering anomalies, as well as acting as a diplomatic hub for interdimensional relations. The site is divided into sectors and independent units, each equipped with reinforced security measures and strict decontamination protocols. JAM’s duties at PL-174 exposed him to the most challenging autopsy cases imaginable, including incidents involving dimensional breaches, extradimensional entities, and complex containment scenarios.

JAM’s work at Site PL-174 demanded not only technical forensic skill, but also adaptability and composure in the face of the unknown. He quickly became known for his ability to maintain evidence integrity and clear documentation, even when confronted with reality-bending anomalies. His performance in this demanding environment led to his transfer to Site-65 in Canada, where his experience with anomalous and high-risk cases made him a perfect fit for the Medical Department.

Thanks to his knowledge, JAM would be a common guest to Site PL-22 (Chroniona Strefa PL-22 (Protected Zone PL-22)), which is a highly classified Polish Facility, known as a Strefa (Zone) consisting of Administration (with medical sub-wing for Polish administrative personnel), Medical and Psychiatric Wings.

Hello, thank you for your support, it means something, not a lot, but something :devilish:😂 lol jkjk

Add server to title.

I believe that coroner would be a great fit for the medical team, though I have not been there in quite some time I think he'd be good for the team as he does great roleplay while on site and is very helpful when he's around.
Hello, thank you for the feedback. I think I remember you from RP, you're the 'Robot' person - nice to see you here ;)
+ support,

Coroner is providing unique RP 24/7, going out of his way to organise his Rp situation.

Helping out others as well as providing knowledge to the people who don't understand the system.

General good RP.

+ support with a pepperoni on top
Thaaanks Holland :D thanks for providing me with body bags and chests so I can RP properly ('Crush' and other staff the names I don't remember too, thanks )
