Why are you applying for Director of Research? I am applying myself to the position of Director of Research because I want to bring genuine roleplay and activity to the research department. I want the challenge to be able to make the research department fun to be involved in and to make it worth the work to document and test on all the SCPs. I want to be a reliable director and to teach anyone in the research department anything they wish to know. (Within their clearance) I have always challenged myself to do as much as possible within the research department weather it be attaining the role as executive, Or testing on SCPs that are hard to test on such as SCP-079. I have always put myself to the research department with the best of my ability and I want to be able to do more for the research department by being able to bring more to the department.

What makes you suitable for Director of Research?: I have been loyal to the research department for a long time and have served as an executive a couple of times so I know what it is like to be in a lead position and also know what it is like from the bottom. I understand the responsibilities and duties of a clearance 4 personnel and follow the Code of Conduct as well as the Code of Ethics in almost all of my decisions. I tend to test on new things and bring new results with my tests always finding things that i can make better about my tests and I want to apply that to this role. Overall, My experience, Activity, And desire to achieve for better is what I know makes me a suitable candidate for Director of Research.

What are the responsibilities of the Director of Research in RP?: There is 2 major responsibilities that the role of Director of Research holds. The main being to oversee the research department's growth and longevity. To make sure that it stays active, That members within follow the guidelines set by the foundation as well as follow the guidelines set by the Director of research and their executive team. The other major responsibility is that of any Clearance 4 personnel. To set an example for the foundation on how someone should be, To help better others and shape their department into something that is good and thrives. The responsibilities of a director are alot and not every director is perfect, They should do their best and help better the research department as best they can.

Please give some lore about your Director of Research character and what storylines they would be involved in:
E-11 personnel escorting DoR, 'Blyt' and 2 Research Executives to the containment chamber of SCP-079. Walking down the halls 'Blyt' Thinks to himself about how the air always seemed so dry down here, How empty and eerie it was to just be down here. Maybe his younger days as a Senior Researcher and the thrill of testing on all the SCPs distracted him from these notes. Now he was older, Knew more, Understood more. This was an area of high danger. Where the harder to control SCPs were contained. Just like the one he was going to go check up on now. An SCP that if breached, Would bring a lot of disaster and death to those within the foundation. E-11 Motioned to proceed to the next set of halls after opening a door. He noted again to himself how thick the doors were, How heavy they sounded, The whirring of the motor moving them aside wasn't just how the motor sounded. It was the sound of the motor struggling to move the door. He thinks back on the 2 Executives following him on this check up. How they seemed to be reading the file on SCP-079 from their foundation issued tablets. They had never really tested this SCP much. "Who would?" 'Blyt' Thought to himself. All tests are the same. You ask some questions, SCP-079 Responds in most passive aggressive answers then sometimes he just flickers that same old X across his screen. How he always hated that X. "Director?" The E-11 lead stating, Attempting to get the directors attention. "Mhm, Yes? What is it?" Director 'Blyt' Quickly answered recovering from his deep thought. He always had a liking to this SCP as every researcher gets. Though some choose other safer SCPs like SCP-999 or SCP-2295. But this SCP, Has always stayed in his mind. How something so old, So watched and guarded. Can easily cause the most chaos. He looked up at the E-11 Personnel lead who had gotten his attention. We were there, At SCP-079's Containment door. The E-11 Was looking at him, Waiting for approval to continue. And as 'Blyt' motioned to continue the E-11 Lead swiped his badge and the door whirred open. 'Blyt' and his 2 executives followed after the E-11 personnel into the first section as another E-11 closed the door behind. The E-11 Lead then opened the next door. The executives stared at the door with anticipation. It wasn't just some normal metal door. It was a blast door, Designed to stop things from getting in. The blast door slowly opened and arose into the ceiling locking in place and there you could see it. The chain fence keeping personnel out and on the other side of the fence through wire you could see it, SCP-079.
