Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: The Ban was because I left while cuffed because I had to attend an event with my IRL buddies for what we call Raid Night in Final Fantasy XIV Online. I probably could have just taken the arrest, but I was more focused on hanging out with my friends at the time. The other 2 warns are from when I first started in 2024 and an 096 incident where I forgot to wait the 60 seconds before roaming after killing someone.
What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?: I will admit as I have in several applications over the years but there will always be someone who applies that will be better suited for the role than me. I will admit that I do spend quite a lot of time as SCP-22415-1 otherwise known as Danny and I have done some... questionable things on that role and sometimes I do go a bit crazy as a tech expert when I'm really bored. But I am someone who take responsibility when needed. I do have former CL4 experience as a Former Executive Researcher, DEA Special Agent, DEA Manager, and Ethics Committee Assistant during my stint as Edwin "Eddie" Richtofen and Kane Halstead and I have proven that I can be serious and professional when I need to be. But I will admit that this CL4 experience is quite outdated and might not hold as much weight as it did back then. I believe I am a good candidate for being an OSA because I am a quick learner and I can easily adapt to any situation and can be serious when I need to be.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
- Act Calm, Collected, and Professional as I represent the O5 Council
- Always Enforce the orders of O5
- Enforce the Foundation's Code of Conduct
- If no SA, O5, or Ethics is on site then it falls to me to authorize AA
- Authorize Sweeps of D-Block if needed and even authorize KOS past the airlock if needed
- Approve certain research tests and documents that benefit both the O5 Council and the Foundation
- Work with Alpha-1 (FAISA) to complete whatever tasks that O5 give
-Observe the site and the various departments and report about them, this also includes interviewing said departments
- Carry out the investigations that O5 assigns me
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?: I have recently had a lot of time to think about all the things I have done on the server from all the tests I did on 682 during my time as an Executive Researcher, from my many many raids against the CI as a DEA Special Agent and from helping keep morale up in the DEA during my time as a Former DEA Manager. These days I want to expand my horizons and return to where my original dream was, to become a member of Site Inspection as an assistant. I know that I may not have nearly as much time as I use to and my skills might be a bit rusty, but I'm willing to put 110% into this role if I am chosen.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
(A figure is seen sitting in a chair, hand cuffed to it and only illuminated by a single lightbulb from above. The brown bag over his head is suddenly removed and he takes a deep breath)
Edwin: Can't say I've missed any of that... it's been a long time since the amnestics have had to be undone from me. I can only assume that this time it's for...
Random Voice (most likely a member of O5): Yes Edwin, the time has finally come. We've been watching you for quite some time now. Your work as a Security Containment Unit has been... acceptable beyond our standards.
Edwin: Well what do you expect? I used to be an Executive Researcher who got trapped in another dimension, then during the incident with former Site Manager Bishop, I ended up possessing the body of one Kane Halstead and I worked with him to become a DEA Manager, and then... I gained full control of his body and his voice just went... silent. After that, you must have felt it was right to hit me with the amnestics so I could neither rember my time as him or my time as my self. Am I correct in assuming that you finally wish to fulfil that dream that Kane had? To become a Site Inspection Assistant as he called it?
Random Voice: Yes... we wish to welcome you among the ranks of the Site Inspection Assitants. Are you willing to accept?
(Edwin just chuckles to himself and mutters a bit)
Edwin: Well Kane... I guess it's time to fulfill that dream of yours.
(Edwin looks up to where the random voice is coming from)
Edwin: Very well... I accept the position.
