What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
O5-4. I'm applying for this position because I'd like to think I'm ready for the responsibility that comes with it. Joining the council has ultimately been one of the many goals I've had. I believe O5 would give me a chance to have an actual, meaningful influence over the foundation as a whole, rather than being restricted to a single department or group, as well as letting me create and manage some RP for the various departments we have around the site. The council is, after all, responsible for maintaining the overall direction and stability of the foundation.
I'm going with the name "The Witness" because, quite frankly, Eggsy has watched the site, its leaders, and its departments fall, change, and end up rebuilding themselves more times than I can remember. I've seen different people take positions of authority, friends I used to work with and under. I've seen members of the council fall and be chosen anew, site policies thought to be implemented permanently eventually change. I think this experience makes the name fitting, it wouldn't just represent an individual of authority (that being a council member), but someone who has seen it all, someone who has never been center stage for these events, just a person on the sidelines, "witnessing" it happen.

What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I believe I'm the best candidate for the council because of my involvement over the year or so I've been playing. I've spent a significant amount of time with the people who run the site, learning the routines and daily/long term expectations of a council member, and have experienced several different periods of the site's development. That has given me an understanding of how quickly things can change and how important it is for leadership to adapt with those changes.
As an assistant mainly, while my focus is the council and its wellbeing, I have time and time assisted our other core departments with issues they may have. I've been a middleman for our Overseers, while communicating problems Research, Medical, GSD, E-11, etc. may be having with each other or themselves to the respective O5 or Site Administration.
As an Executive, I occasionally worked with our DoRs to tweak or even outright change some policies within the department; at one point, we were communicating with the DoISD and some GSD personnel to attempt to implement ISD or GSD combatives in the Research Wing during codes, to assist with security and not having people be kidnapped. I honestly think this helped lead to the creation of EPU somewhat too. I was also one of the executives assigned to the research department's "Trusted" program, which dealt with the somewhat new specialist role. I worked alongside the current DoR, Mason Weskier, to interview, accept, onboard, and punish/decide on removing those who were being problematic or not fit for the role.
I believe the largest flaw I currently have is my lack of Sr CL4 experience. My biggest current weakness is that lack of Sr CL4 experience. I recognize that this is something I would have to make up for, but I believe my existing experience and understanding of the site would allow me to rise to the expectations of the position, and the expectations of others given the chance. My primary focus would be that of the site's wellbeing after all.
Alongside all of this, I consistently create and take part in RP around the site, and even outside of it. I've interacted with our numerous anomalous personnel around the site, spoken to them about their past and "abilities", and collected personnel files. I've worked with multiple overseers as a researcher and as an assistant, done serpents hand RP with the previous -4, projects for the Committee, etc. I also try to help new people who might be lost, even if it's just telling them a test is open book or calling one of their department leaders over for onboarding. Assisting a new site staff member with a positive first impression can be the difference between someone who plays for an hour at most, then quits, and someone who sticks around, becoming a pillar of the community, so I try to help them onto the right path, so to speak. There have been plenty of times I've had to sneak out to privately speak with GOC regarding relations, anything they may need to communicate to the council, and just honestly giving us all something to do, even if it's a food delivery and chatting while we eat.
I would say I am also quite well known around the site. Mainly due to the fact that I have had one single character the entire time I have played. Eggsy Ausforn has always existed. I have come close to dying on more occasions than I can count, under threat of termination from Ethics, and even from the Council, but through it all I've survived. Through this entire time, I've tried to be friendly and as helpful to as many people as I can, bonding with those below me, those massively above me, and those alongside me, as I don't truly see a point in holding grudges or negative opinions towards anyone; we all work together at the end of the day.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
Being emergency managers, authorizing AA, calling ERT, and detonating the Alpha Warhead if all else fails.
Commanding Alpha-1 to execute orders on their behalf, locating or retrieving problematic personnel or persons of interest.
Commanding Overseer Assistants to execute orders on their behalf.
Liaising with the Ethics Committee to make changes to site policy.
Acting as judges in tribunals that cannot be handled by Site Administration.
Dealing with issues regarding Site Administration, such as a department being neglected.
Approving and potentially overseeing testing that requires Foundation Command.
Creating and managing RP around the site for the various departments, giving Research projects, having medical perform operations or assist with medical emergencies, bunk inspections on others, audits, etc.

Please give some lore about your O5 character and what storylines they would be involved in:
I was just sitting there, filing paperwork, doing the things I do every day, when there was a click, and a voice was broadcast over the site.
Approximately thirty minutes ago, during an undisclosed, undocumented test conducted under the orders of Site Inspection, Assistant Ausforn was declared KIA following a severe containment incident within the Site.
Personnel are advised that the incident was not caused by a standard containment breach.
Further investigation has confirmed that Ausforn was, unbeknownst to Foundation personnel, an anomalous individual.
Evidence recovered following the incident indicates that Ausforn's anomalous properties were artificially granted to him through contact with the Chapel of the Last Flame during their stay in Pinewood. The full nature of these abilities remains under investigation.
During the incident, Ausforn experienced a sudden and uncontrollable manifestation of these abilities, resulting in significant damage to the surrounding area and the deaths of several Foundation personnel.
Attempts to contain the manifestation were unsuccessful.
Assistant Ausforn was ultimately killed in action while attempting to prevent the incident from spreading beyond the affected area. Despite their efforts, Epsilon-11 was advised to terminate the Assistant.
His anomalous status had remained undetected throughout his Foundation career.
All personnel are reminded that anomalous individuals are to be reported immediately to the appropriate parties.
Any personnel who have had direct contact with Assistant Ausforn within the last 72 hours are to report to the Medical Bay for screening and quarantine.

So I picked up my radio, clicked it on to talk to the ████-1 operatives just next door, the ones I see every day.
Nothing, it wasn't even working. There was no transmission at all.
The clock said 21:43,
Then another announcement.
But then I heard them outside, ████-1; they always move in a group, bunched together. I knew it was them. I had the window blinds down, liked to work in peace, but... I just knew.
Before I could open the door to ask them what was going on, to get some clarity, it was kicked in. Before I could come to my senses, they were stripped from me, I couldn't see, I could barely hear, and wasn't even walking on my own.
Roosevelt had sent the others to get some food to feed our staff. There was nobody to yell for, nobody around to help.
After being dragged around for what seemed like an eternity, I was sat down, alone in a room, with nothing but a desk, a photo, and a window in front of me.
It was simply a picture of me, with the word deceased below it.
"What the hell is this?" I said, expecting no response.
"Your old life."
"Is this meant to be a threat? Who is this? Where is -1?"
". . . . . . . . . . . . . ."
"Flip. It. Over."
On the backside of the photo, no name, just a designation.
