Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for site admin for several reasons, but primarily because of my love of roleplay. Throughout my time on Civil Networks, I have noticed that the state of roleplay on the USA server is severely lacking. During my time as ECM and O1 COM, I have made efforts to improve the quality of roleplay and create an immersive roleplay environment for the server. Sadly some of my attempts fell short and didn't create the intended effect for the server.
Now I am looking to continue my previous goals in a more direct way and create more roleplay opportunities for the combative departments I will be overseeing while continuing to improve the roleplay of the already RP-intensive departments. Additionally, I intend to ignite a spark in the CL1-3 and get them more active in the roleplay that the USA server can create.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
What makes me suitable for Site Administration is:
Experience: I have a lot of experience over my almost 3 years on this server. I have held CL5 roles, high NCO roles in all GOIs, led MTF regiments, managed departments, and written documents that are still used today. These are all important skills that site administration should have and a reason as to why I would be a great fit.
Understanding of Site Policy: I am incredibly experienced in a lot of site policies. I am well versed in the Code of Ethics and FLC due to my time as an ECM and ISD Inspector. I have knowledge of the Code of Conduct from my time working with the Overseers as A1 LTCOM. I believe that this type of knowledge is important for a Site Advisor to have.
Adaptability: Adaptability: I believe that one of my best skills is my adaptability. I have been playing for quite awhile in many different departments and positions, which has given me the ability to adapt to many different situations and environments. Throughout my time on the server, I have had to work with many different people and departments, along with many different unique updates that add new and creative things to RP with. I have been able to adjust to these situations and continue to run my departments effectively. I believe this is an important skill for a Site Advisor to have as situations can change very quickly and you need to be able to adapt to whatever situation you are put into.
Roleplay: I have a lot of experience when it comes to roleplay. During my time as ECM, I have overseen many large milestones when it comes to roleplay on this site, along with working with DEA to assist and ensure their gameplay and RP are more accurate to SCP lore. I have also worked with and in many different departments and have seen how their roleplay can affect the overall experience of the server. I believe that my experience with roleplay would allow me to help improve the quality of RP on the server and create more opportunities for players to enjoy and engage with the roleplay.
These are all reasons I think that I would make a great addition to the site administration team.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Site Administration holds a lot of responsibilities on site some of which are:
- Selection of MTF and Department Leaders
- Overseeing departments and regiments
- Authorizing testing for RSD
- Advising MTF and Department Leaders
- Creation of Sitewide policy changes
- Assisting in GOI Relations
- Authorising AA, ERT, and GOI assistance during breaches
- Ensuring all personal follow Site policy
- Handling disputes between departments and regiments
- Encuraging all Foundation members to RP
