Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- Been a medical main since i first joined the server and I've been here so long and done so much figured it was time to try to move up and do more. I also want to be more involved in what goes on in medical and do more like training trainees ,RP ,projects ect. Also a bunch of people said I should try to become one.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- I go out of my way to try to help everyone I possibly can when needed. I do help a lot of trainees and doctors when they are lost on something or confused and I want to continue to do that in position where I can do more for them and teach them.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
-ECT: ECT is our procedure where when staff are affected by something that drugs cannot solve it is our last resort treatment. Step 1 is to identify the problem. If its something that can be cured by drugs and by itself deny treatment if not move on to step 2. Step 2 is getting consent from the affected person. Step 3 is setting the patient into the machine once consent has been given and telling them not to head into the light. Step 4 is after the machine had gone and done its thing is getting the patient out of the machine and on their way back to doing their job.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
-Consultants are responsible for the training of all new medical trainees and are expected to help all medical staff when needed. Consultants are expected to follow site rules and COE at all time and behave as CL4 personal. Consultants should always help out with all medical RP in anyway they can whether its surgeries SCP interactions or just interactions with staff
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
-coming from a long line of military servicemen Erik joined the German army and became a combat medic. After 4 years of service Erik left the army to continue their career in medical leading them to a job in the U.S. while in the U.S Erik decided to extend their career in medical into psychic field which lead to a job offer for a mental asylum. Years later the asylum was shut down for conducting unethical experiments behind the scenes. Shortly after they were scooped up and hire by the foundation and was moved to Canada. Few months into foundation employment where their SR doctor role consisted of reattaching hands and conducting psych evals mix of a scp-049 breach and mass d-class escape lead to their permeant injury. During the events of both the breach and the escape a small hoard of SCP-049-2 chased them into the medical departments armory where a group of escaped d-class where raiding for weapons. One d-class armed with a 12g shotgun opened fire on the doctor hitting center mass. Post breach the doctor woke up on the surgery room floor connected to a backpack air tank and a gasmask stitched to the head all connected together with hoses one leading from the "filter" of the mask and another leading straight into their chest. Further exams showed that their lungs were removed and all functions and connections replaced with the tank and hoses. Two weeks of leave after the event they returned to work with new arrangements in place for their "injury" where the continued their work in psychology and therapy.
