Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:752737306
Discord name: (N/A - For now)
For how long have you played on CG SCP:
I joined I believe in 2022, have been constantly on and off for a while.
Age: 16
In what country are you located?: Australia
Time zone: AEST/AEDT
Character name(s): John 'Qwerky' Holfstein [AOG]
Civilian name: Boris Antinov
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?:
- Yessir
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- Null, I only have Riot and Heavy Weapons license. I also have ISD and DEA
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-
A lot were just from not knowing how things work in the past, the recent ones were just me saying senseless things, I have learnt from my mistakes and only play RP the right way, I promise
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I know this is probably said a lot, but I genuinely would like to help the research department reach new heights in development, conduct wacky but appropriate tests, and to better understand everything this amazing server has to offer with its SCPs. I'd like to create many documents to come about what makes research good, why research is important, and how to get the best out of this department.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I believe I have a thorough understanding of how research should be conducted. I know where to find the resources I need, can refer to them at any time, and will do my absolute best to follow the Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics. My opportunity to have this role will increase the expand of my understanding of the SCPs on-site and will show me what danger they can and eventually will pose in the facility.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I honestly have lost track. A lot of them were a while ago and are lost to the void. I think though, what makes a document excellent, is including all information about each test you conduct. Every variable, every incident, behaviour, etc. Being thorough with your detail is crucial to truly understanding the anomalies. A document should include:
* Present personnel
* Signatures/Approval
* Hypothesis
* Items/Equipment Used
* A report of every detail of how the experiment ran
* A summarised conclusion
Then they should be uploaded to SCIPnet to provide other personnel with the information you found, if deemed in their clearance.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
* Expanding the foundations knowledge of SCPs/Anomalies.
* Reporting any and all incidents of the research department.
* Giving peers and others knowledge of the research department, it's essentiality, what makes a good researcher, and how to do the job to the best ability they can.
* Approving experiments that prove useful to the foundation.
* Documenting findings.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
John “Qwerky” Holfstein began his career with the SCP Foundation in early ████ as a Junior Researcher, initially unaware of what this site would offer.
Slowly he rose through the ranks, after years of dedication, through every small test, he became a Senior reseacher, invested in uncovering these anomalies and their abilities. His fascination for these entities and how they reacted got the better of him, and he started to document many of his findings of the foundation in documents we would keep to himself.
In the scenario he is employed as an Executive, he would be involved in:
*High risk Containment breaches, helping exploit their weaknesses to ensure successful recontainment.
*SCPs in need of knowledge gained for better understanding.
*Sampling to provide departments with needed materials and resources.
*Many more to come...
( My coming of promotion would most likely increase how active I am on the server. It can be difficult because of my timezone, but I hope I can try and familiarize myself with other staff of the research department.)
