What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
What I can bring to the Global Occult Coalition is lots of experience in roleplaying, combat, maturity, and leadership. Due to my many past leadership and higher ranking roles I have learned overtime how to properly handle GOI relations well on all sides of the server and how to improve roleplay for all players. I can also bring discipline, activity, and good document creation knowledge. I well understand how to format both in and out of game documents and have shown great activity as of recently.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I have always been interested in joining the GOC, especially because of the potential it has for passive RP through documentation, research, diplomacy, and interactions with the Foundation/CI. With GOC recently being wiped and readded server, I’ve gained a stronger interest in joining and helping rebuild and provide/explore more RP for the whole regiment. I believed that there were many areas of the GOC that could've been explored further and used to create more meaningful interactions between all GOIs. I would greatly enjoy contributing to these new opportunities and helping make the GOC into a faction that consistently provides engaging RP for both its members and the rest of the server.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The Global Occult Coalition was founded because of the seventh occult war which showed the government the dangers of anomalies and how they can be a massive threat to the human race. So the UN formed their own organization to combat the anomalies known as "Parathreats" at the time which would later be known as the GOC.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
Physics: This is the combative arm of the Global Occult Coalition, they are made up of strike teams and assessment teams. Some things they do is have assessment raids on the Foundation to liquidate certain KTEs that threaten the Five Fold Mission.
Psyche: The Psyche team is the diplomatic arm of the GOC, made up of observers and ambassadors, their job is to keep relations at a good standing with other paranormal groups and GOIs such as The SCP Foundation and The Chaos Insurgency.
Ptolemy: The Ptolemy division is the research and development arm of the GOC, their job is to provide medical equipment, chemicals, and weaponry to all other GOC operatives.
What are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The goal of the GOC is to uphold the Five Fold Mission at all times, this is listed below going from highest to lowest priority:
Mission #1: SURVIVAL: To ensure the absolute survival of humanity against any anomalous parathreat.
Mission #2: CONCEALMENT: To ensure that the existence of Parathreats stays hidden from humanity to avoid panic and casualties.
Mission #3: PROTECTION: The GOC tries to protect all humans, along with its own personnel.
Mission #4: DESTRUCTION: All Parathreats are a threat to the human race and must be neutralized.
Mission #5: EDUCATION: The GOC is always looking and trying to further their knowledge about Parathreats.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
The Global Occult Coalition compared to other groups is different in many ways. First off with the fact that they actually want to get rid of all parathreats, most other groups are either parathreats themselves, want to abuse them, or would like to keep their existence for their own personal gain. The GOC is more willing to take more direct action against parathreats while also working through diplomacy, research, and co-operation with other GOIs whenever needed. I also think the GOC stands out because it operates as an international organization made up of many different groups, giving it a much broader range of beliefs, methods, and goals compared to most other factions.
