For how long have you played on CG SCP: I've been playing on and off for a while, but the last few months I've been playing almost every night
Age: 25
In what country are you located?: Brazil
Time zone: GMT-3
Character name(s): Fredo
Civilian name: Oake
What server are you applying for: SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: (Holding) MTF NU-7 LTCOM, (Held) ISD Investigator
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: No
Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I'm applying for this role because I truly believe I can make a positive impact on the site, pushing forward to improve our interdepartmental communications, understanding what the foundation personnel truly enjoy about being on site, and helping regiments to always improve and provide a good experience to their members. In this position, I would encourage regiments to create RP scenarios with each other, as currently I feel like all regiments rarely work together or attempt to create an environment where RP can be created
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
I'm suitable for this position because I'm truly passionate about anything I work on, this can be seen when I took a role as CL4 in NU-7. From what I've seen and have received feedback from higher-ups, NU-7 is in the best position they have ever been, with great activity and some amazing people working towards NU-7 to continue to function in these new standards we have created, ever since i was put in the senior CL4 position i have more and more enjoyed the side of RP in foundation, and love to come down just to meet new people and interact with them. Anyone that has seen the work in NU-7 knows that it was done by making some tough calls and not being afraid to communicate with people about some things that were not working well.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
- Overseeing all Departments and Regiments (Excluding A-1 and O-1) and closely looking at their leadership, also able to conduct audits
- Able to create new policies and manage existing ones
- Assisting GOI relations
- Lead and encourage RP
- Ensuring that the FLC, CoE, and CoC are being followed
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Fredo grew up in Brazil, in a family where discipline mattered the most. His dad served in the military and his mom ran logistics for a hospital nearby. Growing up around that, he picked up early on that most institutions only function when the people in them genuinely care about their work, and that more often than not, they don't.
One day on his way back from work one evening he spotted some commotion near a dirt road and, being the curious type, went to check it out. Turned out there was a containment situation unfolding near a research facility just outside the city, and instead of running or freezing up as most people would, he kept calm, followed what he was told, and stopped two civilians from wandering near the incident. Someone took notice and filed a report. About a week later he got an offer to transfer to Site-65.
He started at the bottom, as everyone does. Bottom of the ladder, as a Gensec Cadet, D-Block shifts, checkpoint duty, What separated him from the rest wasn't fighting ability, it was that he never stopped asking why things never improved. Most people either accepted the answers they got or stopped asking
His transfer into Nu-7 came after how he handled a containment assist during a breach. The regiment was going through a rough period, Fredo didn't wait to be told what to do about it, He started having the conversations that other people were avoiding, and built something that actually worked. When Fredo reached LTCOM, Nu-7 improved to the point where it was running better than ever, not because the problems disappeared, but because people finally felt like they could name them.
