What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Give techies/engineers a step ladder prop placer that places up to 1 ladder they can climb/jump on top of so they can repair things slightly higher than normal so they don't have to spam jump to fix shit for 30 seconds longer than it should take
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Prolly not since most techies don't care enough to fix crap
Possible Positives of the suggestion:
No more spam jumping to fix stuff, saves time, makes sense for their job to have in RP since it's common for handymen to have something like this for the exact reason
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Another potential minge tool at their disposal.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Only giving them one limits the minge effect, it's enforceable by ISD IC so it can be another way for cops and robbers to happen.
IF you want to add a whitelisted maintenance role with CL 3, you could give them this tool and avoid this issue altogether but imo, I don't think it's that necessary. Even though techies and engineers are known to minge, the ones that actually do their job benefit far more with this than the pranksters do with this.
