I'll say the same thing I put on my exec app.

Ive got plenty.
Not proud of a single one.
Some were when I was new and unfamiliar with the rules or when I made a stupid mistake.
Some were plainly just me being belligerent or exhausted.
None were my best moments. Ive learned from each one.
Not one of them truly reflects who I am day to day. They are not true reflections of my ability to perform the duties of a GM, nor are they accurate depictions of my ability to remain courteous, respectful, and professional during my time in the position.

How many hours can you be on every day:
It varies per week, but anywhere from 6-12. Some days even up to 14-16. I'd say an average of about 8-10 would be the most accurate currently.

Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
I do not. Ive done what I can to facilitate events here on the server using PAC3 and creative /me and /it, but that's the closest I have to any GM experience.

Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation, and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:

I have extensive experience using PAC3, Adv Duplicator 2, Precision tool, and Gmod sandbox techniques as a whole. Gmod is my most played game of all time. It beats out everything else, in hours played, that I have in my library by at least double. I just hit 3k hours while writing this app. Ive been playing it since I was 13. Ive put hundreds of hours each into a dozen different game modes. It was the first PC game I ever bought. If brought into the GM team, I will be able to do quite a bit right out of the box with set pieces, character creation, and overall event ideas.

On the other hand, Blender and model creation as a whole is where my skill set drops off. When it comes to outside GMod stuff, importing, and custom content, my knowledge disappears. I don't have experience with file editing, external assets, or other external stuff that isn't just mounted through the workshop. That's not to say I can't quickly learn. I do have some beginner knowledge in programming and whatnot, so I'm not completely useless. I just never felt the need to open up GMod's internal files and dig around.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
Power fluctuations are always fun. Something that causes enough of a situation that it needs to be attended to but not enough to impede the site. Set off a grenade somewhere, and suddenly a few system failures happen around the site. Something someone can comms in so no one panics. Just a blown fuse. Call down technicians and tech experts to HCZ or Reactor. Just a hiccup in site functions.

Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
A Cryptic Phone Call

I was part of a cool event one time where that was like the setup for the main thing. Scared the hell out of me, but the phone calls would be cool to mess around with. Calling people with a code that gives a message with a location on the surface and a promise of a "reward" to the first person to arrive. Would allow surface factions and civis to compete or form an alliance to help solve the puzzle. It'd probably get 1-3 small groups of people together as they frantically talk about some location or phrase. A little treasure hunt around Pinewood. Turns out it's just a convoluted and novel advertisement scheme the local pizza man set up to generate business. Everyone shows up and gets 1 free pizza and are all disappointed.

Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Munitions depot accident

New guy shows up to “do inventory” and somehow detonates a large depot of GOC weaponry. He somehow survives and escapes to the surface while everyone is disoriented, and a wild goose chase ensues. This could be done during a surface breach or some other situation that would make the brand-new explosive entrance to the UN base vulnerable to outside forces like Parawatch or CI. The cleanup would be harder than the chase. Explaining away a large explosion from something like a giant box of freedom rifle munitions. That wouldn't be a normal fireball. That'd be a light show.

Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
The duplication glitch

CI are planning a raid when one of their members picks up some piece of equipment (a stolen keycard or a helmet). However, when looking back at the spot where they picked up this piece of equipment, the item is still there. They have that same equipment in their hand. There are now two pieces. When picked up, a third piece is pulled from the original location. This happens a few more times before another member of CI takes notice. They approach the first member but bump the table the original equipment is resting on. Instead of knocking over or falling onto the floor, the table itself seems to duplicate. The table bumps into a locker; the locker duplicates. Each duplicated item phases into each other until moved. Eventually, entire rooms are nearly impassable, filled with clipping furniture and piles of identical combat gear. A liquidation kit or unit is called in and used to destroy the source of this anomaly on site. Preparations return to normal.

Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
AN ADVENTURER FROM ANOTHER LAND!

During regular patrols, a passing Foundation member notices a crystal tucked up against a wall. It's never been there before, and no one would have left such a precious gem like this just lying around. When the Foundation member attempts to pick up the gem, however, their first touch activates it. A large, booming portal rips open above the gem, pouring out what seems to be a fantasy barbarian. The barbarian, in a frenzy, jumps up and swings a massive sword blindly around him, screaming about an evil sorcerer and vengeance. E-11 and GSD are called to the location, where the barbarian is either calmed and escorted to a more private location. Or the Foundation fails to subdue the wild-eyed man. Unable to be calmed by the Foundation, he enters another frenzy, and with the help of his anomalous protections against the evil sorcerer and his dark magiks, tears his way across the site with ease, giving the Foundation quite the beating before finally falling in battle. The gem is contained for research, but a method to open another portal is never discovered.

Please list a Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
CI finally does it…

A mysterious individual shows up at the CI compound. He claims to be a benefactor of The Engineer. Most in attendance have no clue who that is, but a delcom speaks up, asking what it is the individual wants. He produces a suitcase. Filled to the brim with blueprints for a device that the UN and Foundation have been working on for months. As well as a new document explaining how to modify the machine and the best place to plant it. It takes weeks and a few raids on both local bunkers to acquire the materials, but eventually they build it. The final day comes. A massive team of CI raids the foundation. During their raid, they take an unexpected detour into the breach shelter in the core. One of the CI places the machine in the back of the bunker. All CI members make a cryptic pledge around the bomb, and it is activated. They say their goodbyes, and the bunker is consumed in a massive reality void. In the blink of an eye, the bubble violently collapses, and from it a swarm of unnatural beasts emerges, overtaking the site. One stands out from the rest. It wears the faces of the surviving CI members and commands the beasts pouring from the rift. Its commands can be heard across the site. “GIve Me ___” (someone who wants this to be a PK or something idk. Someone important.). The ensuing battle is intense. A new MTF arrives before anyone knows what's happening. They inform SA that they've been watching the cell responsible for this for weeks but were unable to see what was happening. They would have gotten here sooner if CI didn't send splinter cells to distract them at another nearby site. They assist with the situation as best they can, but ultimately, either the demands are satiated, or the creature kills many before it and its army are put down.

What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible:
1. RP freezes: When an event does not have enough GMs working on an active event, leading to everyone standing around waiting for something to happen. Waiting around for stuff to happen. A good event has no stops. They are improvised, they are fluid, and when something unexpected inevitably happens, it's a GM's job to do something about it.

2. Overused concepts: I see plenty of people complain about disease events that boil down to locking some people into quarantine and watching them tear each other apart while everyone outside yells over each other.

3. Cramped event space/too many people involved: Like the last point mentioned, cramming a bunch of people into a super small room and having them all talk over each other is a good way to kill an event. A third of the people will get headaches and leave the server, another third will just get pissed off and leave the area, and the last third will get REALLY mad, forcefully take over the situation, and make everyone else feel bad. Keep the areas open, or keep the situation classified. Announcing small event stuff over some GM announcements or O-Comms is a good way to garner far too much attention.

4. Nonsensical/Incomplete information from the GM: When a GM does an /it or something like that, and it doesn't make sense or means something other than what the GM wanted it to mean, the event can take quite a turn. While it usually only causes a little hiccup and is promptly fixed, rarely a situation like this can cause the entire event line to unravel and break.

And finally, what do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?:
Toast is gone. So are some of the other GMs. It sucks. I loved the work they started before they left, and I got really involved in some of it. Now half of those projects and event lines are incomplete and will never be finished.

I want to pick up some of Toast’s work. I think an active GM with creative ideas and a good head can really help research, foundation, and the server itself flourish. A lot of the GM stuff I see around the site is heavily preplanned and dry. I want to be the GM who sees something happening and throws a wrench in it. I want to make the unexpected come to life.

ALSO

GMs do a very important and incredible job. They do what a preprogrammed game could never do. They improvise, they enhance, and they facilitate. This is a roleplay server. A computer could never do what a GM does. I want to do that job.

I want to do spontaneous GM stuff with little situations that otherwise feel like a GM wouldn't even bother interacting with half the time. I want to improvise and make someone say “what the hell??”. That's what SCP is. Just a long list of what the hells. And you can't have that without improvisation. And a computer can't improvise. I can.
