What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:i am hoping on joining the GOC to be helpful and help term threats that pose a problem to the world i am alos good at being a medic to help my teammates and throw myself on the line to help them
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: i had fun playing the foundation so i wanted to try something a bit harder and when i see GOC it looks like you guys are having fun playing so i wanted to have some fun to and it seems really cool
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:from what i remember in lore the GOC was founded after how bad the seventh occult war in 1958
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS:they act like the MTF of the GOC and they normally observe, investigate and capture or neutralize anomalies they find there is also two main arms of this Division being assessment teams that are the ones that observes the anomalies and the strike team the ones that do the combat
PSYCHE:they are the diplomat arm of the GOC and try to talk to other GOI about peace and try to clean up disinformation that might cause conflicts also they reach out to other GOI for help and support
PTOLEMY:they are the support arm of the GOC they are the research and develop new technologies to aid the GOC to eliminate the world from anomalies
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
Survival:The GOC holds the survival of humans against all threats that are paranormal, parascientific and parattemporal and is their main mission
Concealment: this is the second mission of the GOC because if information about parathreats got out to the human population this would cause mass panic among us so they must hide the existence of parathreats
Protect: this mission is expendable to the first mission if it is necessary but individual human beings shall be protected from anomalies if possible
Destruction:the GOC must not take any risk around parathreats and must terminate them on sight due to them being a threat to the human race
Education:the GOC expands their knowledge of parathreats by doing tests then (most likely) terminate the anomaly when done with it
Please explain The Seventh Occult War: the seventh occult war happen during WW2 where naizs tried to complete a ritual known as the rite of solomon which would give them supernatural powers (this will probably be the thing to make this denied if ever else is right because I can't find any info about it for some reason)
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:at first i thought they were big assholes to the world but looking into lore they seem they are trying to protect the world from threats other than the foundation that tries to contain them at all coast and the GOC just seems really cool to me and I respect them more than anything now unlike the foundation, chaos insurgency and serpent's hand the GOC have one goal witch is protecting the human race at all coast and it seems really cool to me
