In what country are you located?: USA.
Time zone: EST.
Character name(s): Jason Gfrorer.
Civilian name: N/A.
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA.
Do you have a mic?: Yes.
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: N/A.
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: I have received no bans or warnings in my time on the server.
-
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?: As soon as I reached level 5, I've stuck with the research department from the get-go, first becoming a Junior Researcher & grinding out my research and main levels in order to proceed up the ranks, where I'm currently sitting at a total level 33, with a level 16 research and the main rank of Sr. Researcher, where I am now aiming to become a Biohazard Researcher upon reaching level 40. I very much enjoy the roleplay aspect of research and testing and find everything related to it extremely enjoyable, and it is my hope that by applying I can extend that further to the server. It's not really a surprise that the research teams are usually the emptiest, which in turn leads to Class-D not being able to perform tests and remaining stuck in the D-Block, and Gensec stuck guarding. If I were to be accepted to the role of Executive Researcher, my priority task would be to enlarge the importance of the research department, attracting new candidates in the process, and ensuring that everyone has a fun and amazing experience while adhering to both server and roleplay rules in the process. There's a very big divide between the research department and other foundation facilities, and it is my hope to mend those and make it a worthwhile occupation while providing a good experience.
-
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: As stated in the paragraph above, I have selected researcher as my main occupation in the server since I was able to upon reaching level 5. I've performed well over two dozen experiments on various SCPs, primarily based in the LCZ area. I have a fine understanding of the code of ethics and the proper methods for researching, and I always try my best to ensure that all participants in my tests have a fun, yet adherent roleplay experience. This would only be magnified if i were to be accepted for the Executive Position, with the benefits and authority that brings, I would further supplement the server by greatly uplifting the research department in areas I've listed in prior paragraphs. Adding onto that, I was approached to apply for the position initially, which I believe lends credence to my application.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?: As of current date, I have written and submitted two documents to the SCIPNET database, one on 427-2 & a potential petition for a test on SCP-860. I am confident in their state and publication and understand how to properly format any published documents, proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and a clear and concise read are just a few of the important aspects of any proper document, as laid out in the document guideline.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?: The responsibilities of an Executive Researcher are to oversee lower-clearance researchers and ensure they adhere to listed foundation guidelines and ethical qualms. They would also ensure that the research department remains properly motivated and steered in the right direction to ensure maximum scientific benefit. Testing and standards for such would be enforced, in order to provide all players will amble high-quality roleplay experiences.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Lore: Born on the East Coast of the United States, Jason exhibited a track record for an aptitude towards the generalized field of science and research at a young age. In high school, Jason excelled in all his classes, demonstrating a keen interest in various scientific disciplines. He was eager and participated in science fairs, winning several awards for his innovative projects that spanned biology, physics, and chemistry. His diverse interests made it challenging for her to choose a specific field, but his parents encouraged her to pursue a career in generalized sciences, believing that a broad foundation would open doors to much more possibilities.
For his undergraduate studies, Jason attended a prestigious university where he majored in General Science. During his time there, he was happily immersing himself in a variety of courses, ranging from astrophysics to microbiology, and specifically the science of virology.
Being stated, his academic prowess did not go unnoticed, and he quickly became involved in research projects with professors who recognized her potential. His undergraduate thesis explored the interdisciplinary connections between different scientific fields. Upon completing his bachelor's degree, he then chose to pursue a master's in interdisciplinary sciences. This decision allowed him to delve even deeper into the connections between various scientific disciplines and refine her research skills. Her master's thesis focused on the integration of emerging technologies in different scientific domains.
Eager to expand his horizons even further, he pursued a Ph.D. in Generalized Sciences at an internationally renowned research institution. His doctoral research centered on developing a unified framework for understanding complex systems, incorporating principles from physics, biology, and computational science. However, nearing the age of 32, Jason was get sent a mysterious letter in the mail from a private firm he had never heard of, describing a vague but extremely lucrative career opportunity. You do your due diligence and look them up, and it seems that the "Southern Consulting Partners" was a real, endorsed scientific research group. He then called the number and arranged to meet, going to a nondescript office building for what seemed like a normal interview, although they had him fill out some weird personality test as well as somewhat excessive NDA, and told him they'd be contacting him soon. Jason got the impression things went well, but it's strange. He never quite got an exact answer about what it is he'd be doing, just that your skills are considered "invaluable" to the organization.
After a week of no word, Jason gets a call saying that a car will be sent to pick him up tomorrow morning. Unorthodox, but they are offering quite a lot of money and, supposedly, the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of his field. He briefly hesitated before entering the black Towncar with the tinted windows, but the driver's smile put him at ease. After many hours of travel, where he'd seemingly blacked out multiple times...
Jason asked the driver where you're going, but he says, "All will be explained at the site." After driving through what seems like backroads beyond backroads, you get to a checkpoint manned by armed guards. Must be top secret. You think as your driver flashes his credentials and proceeds through the gate. Up ahead, you see a large sign featuring an unfamiliar logo and large 65...
And so began Jason's 12-year-old tenure at the SCP Foundation. Initially beginning as a research assistant, Jason rose from the ranks over the previous decade and now assumes his title as executive researcher, hoping to continue the good work of the foundation, and ensure they can continue to die in the dark while the world lives on in the light.
Story/RP:
Jason would, of course, be involved in anything research related, including matters pending the nature of SCPs, overseeing their re-containment procedures, etc. Particular storylines that Jason would be involved in would be relationships and storylines involving the Global Occult Coalition, who he has encountered a handful of times. Jason seeks their cooperation in a limited manner on a case-by-case approved basis, in order to secure the anomalous further.
