What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
It's my opinion that I'd be the best current candidate for Overseer Assistant for several reasons. The first reason that would make me a sufficient candidate is my current experience in a leadership position. While being an executive researcher and around just over a month as DoR it's given me ample time to show that I know how to be a proper leader in both RP and more administrative duties. Due to the duties of an Overseer Assistant (which will be covered below), I will be explaining more of the administrative side of things. I've ascertained most of this experience whilst being a DoR which is as follows; first would be my changes to policies. While this is pretty miniscule it goes much deeper to do it properly. A good policy change requires one to think deeply about how the policy not only affects your current department but also those departments around you. To give an example my most recent controversial change to the way documents work. It was, in clear writings, stated that documents would be required to do testing within HCZ/Sampling of surface SCPs. While one may say "Oh, this just affects ScD" that is simply wrong. You must also discuss with E-11 as they are the main ones within HCZ to get them informed so that they may then get word spread to their members. With that you must also define how a document should be laid out, however, we won't go that deep for the sake of brevity. Now onto my second point of the administrative side which is managing members themselves or in the case of XX more of departments in a way. Managing members is a key piece to being a leader as it shows one can work well with others. I've shown such through the management of our current/ex-members of Research Command. As of recent and past some had been fairly inactive/slipping to a side of immaturity which was not good. While one who is inexperienced may lay down the iron fist and remove them all such is not how things should be handled. I instead went for a more strategic approach of getting to know each of them over time to get to the root of the issue. For some, it was a lack of interest or more personal reasons. Whatever the case may be for them it allowed me to handle each of them to the degree that was needed. I, sadly, had to remove some, and for others, I was able to give a gentle pushback into activity. My second overall point to why I would be a good candidate for Overseer Assistant is I want to learn. It's well enough for someone to be good at their job but what you really need is someone who is constantly looking to improve. I'd say that I am certainly one of those people. It's unlikely I'd have become a DoR if I simply just thought I "was the shit". No, I took the time, and still am, to work on myself and see where I can improve. I am quite good at doing Research RP (still can always learn though), however, I would like to spread my wings so to speak. I want to get more in-depth with overall site management to help the server itself in creating RP scenarios that are both fun and doable. I can do this to an extent as a Director of Research but it isn't quite the same. I am pretty limited in what I can do to create RP for departments such as IA or other departments of the like which I would love to do.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
Overseer Assistants have much more sporadic jobs when compared to others of their like as they can still be broken down into a couple of different things. The first would be to handle more of the ground or "grunt" work for the Overseers. Such could be something like passing along documents, meeting with people, and overall being the first line of contact. To go a bit deeper into that they are the person you go to before you see a member of the O5 council. They are the ones that will vet you and gather the information from you then take it to the O5 or they will request that the O5 speak with you if the information is deemed a little too sensitive to share with the assistant. They may also meet with other group dignitaries when the O5 isn't available to speak on their own behalf, which is rare, but it may occur. That's why it's their responsibility to also be acquainted with all aspects of the site's runnings and most of the runnings of the GoIs around us such as GOC or CI. Another responsibility of an Overseer Assistant past being a glorified border guard is to do the occasional person/department review. While ethics assistants are the main, and currently really only ones that do department reviews it may fall onto you to do them as well. Should an O5 deem it necessary you would act as their eyes and ears on the ground when they are away to see if their issues might stem in a department or person. Such would allow the department and or person to be changed to meet the standards that we hold ourselves to within the Foundation. The last responsibility of an Overseers Assistant that I can think of would be their work with other departments. This slightly ties back to the first one, however, it's a bit more of the actually sitting down and talking with their portion. This could mean doing things like working on projects with them to boost activity or working on events for fun. It's a lot more independent work that's started by yourself rather than an O5.

Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Ivy Picket started her time at the Foundation, like many, a long long time ago. She came in all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed excited to see what awaited her behind the oh-so-mysterious yet alluring curtain of the Foundation. She soon found out that what's hidden isn't always meant to be revealed, however, it was too late to put what had been let out back in. She slowly grew more and more desensitized to the gruesome nature of the SCPs that surrounded her working very closely with some of the Foundations' most dangerous entities. As time went on she also gained much more knowledge about the Foundation and how it works. With this knowledge procured over years of experience, she soon became an outstanding member of her current Site. She now spends her days tirelessly working for the Foundation so that what has been revealed to her isn't revealed to the public for their own sake. She later is contacted by the current Director of Research and is quite excited and a little nervous to hear what he has to say. She thinks to herself all sorts of things he might say from offering her a seat on a project to punishing her for something she didn't know she did wrong, however, what he said next she could never have predicted in a million years. She was given a promotion from Sr. Researcher to Executive Researcher. She knew that she had been a Sr. for quite some time and worked on many projects but never would've imagined herself making it all the way up to the level of an Executive. As time passed this excitement simmered down and she settled into her position as an Executive getting tied up in numerous projects and plans over the years. At this point, she had seen all that the Foundation had to offer, well, that the Foundation showed her. Recently one of the Directors of Research had an untimely death while working on a project of an unknown nature. She saw this as a chance to elevate her skills and the department. You see she had enjoyed being an Executive but she could only do so much and wanted to do more. After a while of waiting and hoping she received a knock on her office door which is not an uncommon thing for her as she is a go-to when it comes to help, however, this time it was different. Instead of a new researcher or fellow Executive walking through the door, it was the Site-Director. She had heard of the Director before but never really got the chance to meet her and as such was quite excited. They sat down and talked for hours, question after question until the Director said the two words that would catapult her career in the Foundation "You're Accepted". Just like that, she was the new Director of Research. She certainly had her work cut out for her and was eager to get started immediately. What she could do was now only limited by her imagination, what would she do next? Well, we know what she would do next and not too soon after her recent promotion to the esteemed position of Director of Researcher. Upon settling into her job after a month she found that she wanted to do more to help the site as a whole. So she sat and pondered the question for a while before remembering something that one of her superiors had told her about. Overseer Assistant, she could join their ranks to get that experience she was missing, however, the Overseers are not easy people to reach despite her ongoing project with O5-1 into the depths of Andersons Factory. Despite such being the case she presented her case to the council and they accepted her as their new assistant to carry out their duties as they please.

-Working with Ivy has been amazing. We recently worked on some research RP together. It was very enjoyable to create and was well thought out. Ivy is also very active as a DoR and is constantly creating RP with everyone. I can’t think of a single reason Ivy would be denied for OSA. Good luck Ivy.

Unfortunately, I personally don't see much off you often when on-site. Therefore, I can't exactly form an opinion on your character. However, that does not change the fact that you are a suitable candidate for the position of Overseer's Assistant.

Your application alone proves that you know your way around the site and that you are acknowledge more that adequately on this position.

Furthermore, you clearly show your experienced and properly suited for this position by your tenure as the Director of Research. I am confident that you would fulfil each and every role within this position.

The Council would be foolish to not accept you.
