Why are you applying for the Director of Medicine?
I believe my knowledge of how to manage people and a department are acceptable. I have had a strong preference towards medical over most other departments and regiments. Regardless of my recent time spent on medical compared to other jobs, especially Nu-7 and D-Class, it is the main choice for a department I would want to lead and manage. It would also be an excellent chance for me to attempt to further my responsibilities and overall potential of working within the site, beyond the casual pop in and say a few words and never see the person again.
What makes you suitable for Director of Medicine?:
I have previous experience as a Medical Consultant, and know the overall workings of the medical department. While there may be other candidates considered over me, I believe I am capable of providing more variety in the case of department directors. I wish to enable those around me to have fun on the job and understand that to conform to the "Only work no fun" stereotype that some jobs seem to have. I will take time to watch over Consultants and future Consultant Candidates and work closely with the other Medical Director so as to ensure our functionality as a department will not falter.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Medicine in RP?:
Overviewing and directing a department while working alongside medical consultants so as to ensure the cohesiveness and stability of the medical department.
Working alongside Site Administration and Site Command to ensure site policies are followed within their department
Accepting/Denying Consultants and training those who are accepted
Ensuring their department is a fun RP experience and enhancing it in as many ways as they can when the need calls for it
Giving the personnel under them (From trainees to consultants) someone to ask questions, as they are the face of medical and are meant to know what to do in case anyone has questions
Look over documents going into the system regarding their department, grading and giving feedback when uploaded.
Please give some lore about your Director of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
JAMES SCANDAL LORE DOC (For the most relevant information regarding the overall past of James Scandal mostly prior to joining the Foundation)
In the past, James had been a familiar face for Internal Affairs, which had been restructured into the Internal Security Department in his time on site. During that time he was under a different name and such, but the memories remain of his maleficence and tomfoolery. Eventually he had gained an interest in the medical department and had been appointed a Medical Consultant for a time. Eventually he would leave site for a time, giving up the spot of Consultant.
When he would return, he would consider rejoining the Medical Leadership, and with the recent resignation of someone he had known, he would take it into consideration under the recommendation of a Site Manager, one who James would consider a friend, who wanted him to return to Medical Leadership as a whole. With this, he would fill out the paperwork, preparing everything for his potential return to the medical leadership as a head as the Department of Medicine.
