Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: I have received 2 Failrp warnings and 1 for mixing, explanations listed as per below
Failrp: I received this warning from Gian after shooting at d-class as a tech expert. I was defending myself against d-class as there was no other gensec around whilst I repaired doors. I, unfortunately, shot at Gian who had warned me for failrp. Unable to contest due to said moderator not being a part of the staff team and no evidence after realising it was an ethics issue. Failrp: This warning I have learnt from, as I hadn't realised it but have further been educated on the rules within CivilGamers. I provided d-class weaponry as a chef, which in retrospect, was a stupid thing to do and I have no longer been involved in this rule breakage upon learning it. Mixing: There is no excuse for the actions I undertook whilst being a d-class. I continuously stated to gensec that they were committing rdm and made no attempts to cease my actions. I heard other d-class say it and just joined in as a goof. I understand that this was mixing and had done it anyway, I learn from my mistakes whilst being in SCPRP and have made every attempt to excuse myself from any rule breakage.
Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community?:
- Yes, previously I had been a staff member of a whitelisted GTA V community but had left to due ongoing drama within the community. I have no other staff experience within Gmod. However, hope this is my first one.
Do you have any previous experience with serious roleplay?:
- Yes, as stated in the prior question I have experience with GTA V roleplay which incorporates a similar rule setup as Civil Gamers and others. I have also been involved in multiple Starwars RP servers and have even joined regiments and battalions within them in an effort to progress my RP experience.
How many hours can you be on every day?:
- I can commit at least 2-4 hours every day, depending on my work schedule I can also commit 4+ hours.
Why do you want to become a moderator for our server?:
- I feel the need to give back to the community through my experience within CivilGamers and provide a better experience for everyone involved. I also want to educate others rather than discipline depending on their history. I believe I can also make a difference based on my timezone as I usually play at night. Also, given the amount of staff at any given time I feel as though I should attempt to lend a helping hand to them. The main reason I would like to become a moderator is to be more involved in the community given my playtime.
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants?:
- Well, I don't believe I am special over the other exemplary applicants who have applied. However, I believe I can be a great help to the server by actively educating others on server rules and practices. Also, given downtime, I can provide assistance to others as I live in Australia I usually play at night sometimes. I have also been a prior staff member in a GTA V community and have displayed good community practices within that community. I believe in education over discipline as more often than not giving someone a warning when they have no priors gives them a negative experience of the server being harsh. I can also multi-task during multiple situations and scenarios. I also provide a non-biased and fair view and only look for facts given certain sits. I am able to help by projecting my experience and abilities in civilgamers and assisting with non-important situations giving experienced moderators more time to deal with serious sits. I can provide a more lenient yet firm style of moderating to provide a better experience for those within SCPRP.
