No warnings, kicks, or bans.

Why are you applying for Site Advisor?

I am applying for the Site Advisor position because I can make changes that will effectively improve the quality of interactions, Relationships, and RP across departments. As an Executive Researcher, I work closely with medical on biohazardous SCPs/events. With the power of a Site Advisor, I would better coordinate departments and potentially begin cross-departmental projects.

I also have ideas for improving each department. For example, in the research department, Executive Researchers are responsible for onboarding new Jr Researchers and providing them with an orientation to the site. I recommend implementing a similar system for GenSec, in which security sergeants would find new cadets, give them a tour of the light containment zone, and instruct them on how GenSec operates and on their duties.

I am applying for the Site Advisor role because I have ideas and want to improve the site in ways I can't as an Executive Researcher.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
What makes me suitable for Site Admin is the fact i have previous exsperince in level 4 positions, Before i left the site for a while i was an Executive Researcher and an Ethics Committie Assistant, What also makes me suitable for SA is the fact i have been with Civil networks for almost 2 years now, having first began back in early 2024 where i acheved the rank of Executive researcher before moving onto Ethics Committie Assistant working under Ethics Member Coral. I have ideas that can improve the site in many ways. I also have leadership experience from my first and current time as an Executive Researcher. I was able to step into a new environment with entirely new leadership and adapt quickly to the changes over the 2 years, demonstrating that I can adapt to wildly different situations and get my bearings before continuing with my duties.

I am also aware that being SA isn't all about leadership, rosters, and managing departments. Being SA means creating RP. As a member of the Research Department, my primary focus and experience are in RP; as such, I would bring my experience and love of extensive cross-departmental RP to the position of Site Advisor.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:<br>-<br>
Site Admin has a wide range of duties, from management of site emergencies such as GOI raids or SCP breaches; as such, they also have authority over who is authorized for the Advanced Armory. I will not waste your time by telling an entire story about their jobs. I value efficiency, so here is a list of the SA's responsibilities.
  • Appointment of all Directors excluding ISD Directors
  • Appointment of MTF Nu-7 and E-11 Commanders
  • Appointment and management of Site Administration personnel
  • SA runs tribunals for our internal legal system
  • SA supervises GOI relationships.
  • Acts as the first up the hierarchy for departments to contact outside of their department.
  • Runs audits on any failing departments
  • SA can authorize tests without ethical parameters.
  • SA manages all departments on-site and their performance.
  • SA is responsible for site-wide policies and speaks directly with Fcom to ensure foundation-wide policies are implemented here on site
  • SA can authorize parts of the site to close for training, events, etc
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Backstory:

Leo Macarther was born and raised in LA and earned a degree from UCLA, double majoring in microbiology and epidemiology with a minor in anthropology. After graduating, he signed up with the CDC, where he traveled the world researching the deadliest viruses and the largest threats known to him at the time. Leo would devour any knowledge, which eventually led him down a path into the world of paranormal/anomalous biohazards, and soon enough, Leo was approached by a strange group of people who invited him to do something for humanity rather than be mocked by the scientific community. He accepted and was brought into the SCP Foundation, where his skills and talents became very useful when it came time to understand the nightmares that the foundation kept safely locked up.

His life in the foundation was one excitement after another, rapidly rising through the ranks to senior researcher before joining the CRB. Leo was good at his job, running tests on SCPs such as SCP-087, SCP-966, and SCP-999, and trying to find new and interesting ways to test these SCPs. His mind expanded outwards, and now he seeks to understand subjects such as 096 regeneration, potential ways to apply new medical techniques to the foundation, new armor, and weaponry ideas, and research into the origin of human consciousness. But as he conducted his research with his trusted mentor [Redacted], tragedy struck when he, [Redacted], and [Redacted] were kidnapped by the serpent's hand. Unfortunately, he was the sole survivor of the serpent's hand's ruthless attack and kidnapping. However, he still misses his mentor and hopes to continue her research where she left off, on a mission to ensure her death wasn't in vain. And now, with hundreds of ideas sprouting and his promise to finish [Redacted]'s research, he places his hand in the ring of the executive researchers.

Leo spent a long time as an executive researcher, struggling to enforce the code of ethics in the research department. After some time, he applied and became an ECA, where he worked hard to ensure everyone adhered to the code of conduct. Though the loss of his mentor and the lack of work given to him by the ECMs made him deeply unhappy. So he requested a demotion and left for field research, where he spent 2 years studying SCPs with MTF-[REDACTED], identifying and assisting in the containment of new anomalies. (I had college and was too busy to play) After his time ended, he returned to site 65 ready to continue his research and resume where he left off.

Climbing the ranks to Executive, he found the same problems. But this time he figured if he couldn't make the changes he wanted to see in the job of executive researcher, nor as ethics committee assistant. He could make a difference by serving as Site Administration.
