I have also been blacklisted before, around two years ago. But I appealed it around a year ago.



What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number)
I am applying for O5-3. Now, in my previous applications I said this:

I believe a lot of roleplay can come from Foundation Command but is not being utilized, I plan to change this. Although the USA server is “combat oriented” it's still a roleplay server, and a lot of roleplay can be made from it, people just need a push in the right direction as well as good roleplay leaders. So, if I were to be accepted I believe I could push people in the right directions for roleplay, leading it, and creating it.​

I completely stand by everything said above, but there are also other reasons I have decided to apply for O5.

I firstly want to address the fact that I recently applied for Site Director and I'm now applying for O5. From an outside perspective, I completely understand how this could look like I am simply applying just for a high position within the site. However, that is far from my actual reasoning for making the switch.
A large part of why I originally applied for Site Director was because I wanted the opportunity to improve and help Site Admin, especially considering the position it is in currently. At the moment, Site Admin is down to only three members out of the seven, and I want to be able to help get SA back onto its feet. However, O5 is also currently in a similar position, being down to only a few members. Being in this situation, I believe becoming O5-3 would allow me to help both the O5 Council and Site Administration.

Beyond that, I have also found myself much more interested in the type of roleplay that the O5 Council can create. This is a position where you can interact with basically every part of the Foundation, which gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to creating and leading roleplay. Additionally, O5 gives the opportunity to get involved in situations that normal personnel wouldnt usually get involved with. I enjoy being put into situations where I have to hear both sides, make a decision, then stand behind that decision. I believe O5 would give me a lot of opportunities to do this, while allowing me to create roleplay that can develop into something much larger overtime.

What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I believe what makes me one of the best candidates for the Council is that I have already had the opportunity to prove a lot of what I claimed I could do in my previous applications; This being that I can create and lead roleplay, while managing departments and keeping them on track. During my time as Site Administration I have put these claims into practice, rather than simply stating what I could do if given an opportunity.

Another quality that I believe sets me apart is my willingness to take initiative in situations, I dont want to sit around and wait for roleplay to come to me, I want to go out and find opportunities to create it. When I do create roleplay, I try to involve other people and give them something to work with, rather then making myself the center of it all. I want to create situations that I can be involved in, while still giving others the opportunity to take part and build off of the roleplay.

Finally, as said in many applications of mine, I have previous leadership and roleplay experience. My time within Alpha-1 and then Site Administration, has put me in a position where I can lead personnel, communicate with other departments, and make decisions that could have a significant impact on a lot of factors. Through this I have learned to consider the consequences of a decision before making them, while still being able to act when something requires it.


What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
The responsibilities for a Council Member are;
  • Overseeing the sites operations,
  • Upholding / Discussing GOI relations,
  • Creating / Approving Research Projects / Documents,
  • Giving orders to Assistants and Alpha-1,
  • Detonation of the Alpha Warhead,
  • Calling ERT for breaches,
  • Updating / upholding the Code of Conduct.

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
The responsibilities for a Council Member out of RP are;
  • Choosing the Alpha-1 Commander,
  • Choosing and or Voting on Site Director Applicants,
  • Creating Roleplay; as well as working with Roleplay Leads to create roleplay,
  • Managing and or Handling OOC Issues / Discord Matters
  • Choosing and or voting on Assistant Applications.

I understand that I just got Manager and SA is in a pretty weird spot right now, being down to 3 members. However, I can assure you we have plans for this, and I have spoken to my other Administration members about this. I would not be applying for O5 if I believed me leaving SA would put it in an even worse position.

I completely understand the concern though, especially with how SA looks right now, and its something that other members of SA and I took into consideration before I put my app up.
