What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number)
I am applying to be O5-4 for plenty of reasons. I’ve stated this in almost every application I have made; I believe a lot of roleplay can come from Foundation Command but is not being utilized, I plan to change this. Although the USA server is highly considered “combat oriented” it's still a roleplay server, and a lot of roleplay can be made from it, people just need a push in the right direction, as well as good roleplay leaders. So if I were to be accepted I believe I could push people in the right directions for roleplay, leading it, and creating it.
As said in my previous FCOM application, during my Alpha-1 tenure I advocated for roleplay, as well as trying to create it. Due to the nature of the combative regiment it was hard to, which is why I went to Site Administration. In my time as Site Admin I believe I did a pretty good job at creating roleplay, but I always imagined something bigger, something that could have an even bigger impact with roleplay. Now, that is why I'm applying for O5-4.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I believe I am the best candidate for the Council for plenty of reasons. The first and foremost I'll get into, is my experience with roleplay creation and personnel management. Due to my time within Alpha-1 and Site Administration, I have gained experience handling personnel, resolving situations, and creating / leading roleplay. These positions have also taught me how to make decisions under pressure, whilst keeping players engaged in the roleplay.
This experience also ties directly into my leadership capabilities. I have consistently been trusted to lead others, and I believe I have demonstrated my ability to do so effectively. Additionally, I have a very good understanding of the Council and how they are intended to operate, both in character and out of character.
Finally, my activity is a big thing that sets me apart from others. Whilst I had a short time of burnout; I had gotten my VTime back up to 8-9 days, and I plan to stay around there. If I were to be accepted as O5-4 I would dedicate my time on the server to that position, creating roleplay and making sure players are involved in the server.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
The responsibilities for a Council Member are;
- Overseeing the sites operations,
- Upholding / Discussing GOI relations,
- Creating / Approving Research Projects / Documents,
- Giving orders to Assistants and Alpha-1,
- Detonation of the Alpha Warhead,
- Calling ERT for breaches,
- Updating / upholding the Code of Conduct.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
The responsibilities for a Council Member out of RP are;
- Choosing the Alpha-1 Commander,
- Choosing and or Voting on Site Director Applicants,
- Creating Roleplay; as well as working with Roleplay Leads to create roleplay,
- Choosing and or voting on Assistant Applications.
