Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?: Before I started playinjg as researcher I was more into more combat focused jobs, that being one of the reasons I stayed in GSD for so long. But after a while I started to get bored of doing combat, and wanted to focus more on LARP. That's why I first began playing as MC&D in the first place, but then I realized I couldn't really do too much RP as a non foundation character. That is why I created my current character, Luminary Pôlaris, to be able to do so much more in the foundation, and I couldn't have done a better choice when selecting a branch. I have a lot of fun doing tests, and creating new and innovative LARP of my own, and participating in other people's RP as well. The reason I want to become an Executive is so that I can give back, and help people who want to invest their time into this branch. This last days I have been helping junior and regular Researchers with their doubts and tests, and I would like to be able to do more for them and the branch as a whole by providing new ideas of my own.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: I am a some what well known researcher around the site. I always try to help fellow researchers with their tests and other foundation personnel do their task more smoothly. I attempt to maintain stable/good relations with the other departments in order to avoid unnecesary conflict inside the foundation. I always maintain proffessional standars when dealing with every day or when important matters are at stake, and always stay vigilant for any corrupt/unproffessional behaviour happening from researchers. I love research a lot, and I want to put all my energy into making it even better than it already is as of right now.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent? None at the current momment, but I have done interesting and fun tests in the past which may not be reflected in the documents itself. I speak spanish mainly so I really struggle when it comes to writing things down. Regardless of this, I am improving as time goes and and I hope to reach an excellent level when writing documents some day in the near future. I believe that excellent documents are the ones that are able to compress excessive information into a short/medium length document that is well organized in sections which allow the reader to have a good grasp of what they are reading. Long documents may look nice at first glance, but if those said documents are not coherent or repeat unnecesary information in several parts of the document it makes it harder for the reader to comprehend what the test will be addressing.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?: The responsibilities of executive researchers are many, as a junior CL4 you need to be able to handle more information which you will use for RP scenarios that previously you may have not possesed as a CL3. You are to set an example for others to follow by acting in a proffessional manner when dealing with public matters. Executive researchers are to teach the new researchers on how things work around the site and what protocols are to be followed when doing tests. They must also grade the tests submited by researchers and help them if they have any questions regarding how documents work or on how to aproach certain tests. If those documents require authorization you are to analyze said document and decide wether it should be done or not in the first place. In case of unproffessionalism or braking of the law, if it is deemed necessary job bans may be applied to researchers that cross the line or just don't seem to care enough to change their ways.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in: Specialist Researcher Luminary Pôlaris's Foundation personnel dossier.
