Why are you applying for Director of External Affairs?
- I am applying for Director to help DEA grow, also continuing Meka's work with SET, helping them to thrive alongside DEA. As well as helping to guide the new Special Agents, and teach them to show new Agent, and Sr Agents how to properly do their job. Another thing is the decreasing the inactivity of the Special Agents, and Managers, as well as BTAC. As well as introducing a higher level of RP for everyone involved in the day to day DEA operations, and high impact on leadership, and general perspective of DEA as a whole.
What makes you suitable for Director of External Affairs?:
- I am one of the most active Sr CL4 DEA members, as well as playing later in the night allowing GOC(when not on allied/friendly status), and MC&D to enter the Site when possible. In my time as Manager I have played a integral role in the succession of the BTAC Sub-Reg. As well helping to resolve the war between CI v F, helping to work on terms with them helping to end it, throughout my time as Special Agent, and Manager it has been made very aware of the issues, and things that do not help the Department, and I wish to help change those, and make DEA better.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of External Affairs in RP?:
- Running DEA as a whole, giving Agency Manager's tasks, making sure Managers/Special Agents aren't goofing off, handling punishments when necessary, attending meetings, and making sure treaties get upheld, making sure inner-foundation relations stay healthy, approving of infils, and raids on GOI's. As well as ensuring timely, and accurate trainings/license tryouts and making interdepartmental policies.
Please give some lore about your Director of External Affairs character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Matteo 'Phoenix' Calabrese was born in New York City to ███████ Calabrese and █████ Calabrese, his parents. and older brothers were part of the Italian Mafia, earning the trust of many powerful people. While growing up he his parents tried to keep him away from the shady business that they were doing. A couple years after turning 21 his older brothers were tragically killed in a hit gone wrong in the Imperial Apartment buildings. He was offered a job in the local Police Department. Taking that opportunity he worked his way up the ranks, and helping to defeat the criminal empire that his parents had helped grow. He transferred to State Police, and applied to the Swat Team, after being on the Swat Team he received a REDACTED Letter notifying him the SCP Foundation's Interest in him joining their Department of External Affairs, and helping to train them in the combat techniques that he learned over the years. After joining the SCP Foundation at Site-65 located in ██████, Canada he quickly moved up from Operative, to Senior Agent, and joining BORTAC, being one of the first new recruits to join, and help grow the Sub-Division.
After getting Special Agent Matteo would go on to help his colleague and soon to be superior Dale work on reviving the BTAC Sub-Regiment. After reviving BTAC Matteo would strive to help assist any GOI's in any relations, or coming into Site to sample. He would have multiple meetings with GOC Captain Clutch, and GOC Ambassador 'The Corinthian'. Shortly after getting promoted to Manager the local CI Cell would decide to remove NU7 from the Surface Treaty causing the Site to go to total all out war the said CI Cell. During the course of the war he would be kidnapped, interrogated for information, and eventually bought back by Site Inspectorate. Shortly after he would then work with the CI LTCOM 'Simpleton' on a new treaty to re-enact it, and add NU7 back to it. Shortly after GOC Relations would also raise from neutral to allied increasing their assistance, and acceptance into the Site, and having a meeting with GOC Ambassador 'The Corinthian' and helping them sample SCP's.
