Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?:
In truth I am applying for Medical Consultant to extend my horizons within the medical field and to train others. In my 160 hrs of playing I would say a solid 147 of it has been as a medical personnel. I like playing a part in a lot of what happens in medical and I would like to also expand that out to other departments as well. How I would do that is unknown to me but I know that with enough effort I can lead something for it. As for training, I have shown plenty of new trainees and couple of doctors on how to handle certain things. Such as situations where others may try to pressure doctors into doing things they shouldn't. Of course that is only more extreme scenarios. I have shown them basic things as well. How to make medicine or how to operate equipment. I have done many of these things and by being a consultant I would be able to even go as far as to whitelist people for their medical license.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I tend to hold myself accountable and am responsible for all of my actions as a Sr. Doctor. Not only do I do this for myself but I try to do it for others. Now you may have read the "try" in that sentence. Its not there because of my lack of will or anything like that. Its there because no one believes in my credibility. What they see is the Sr Doctor, someone who is proficient in their tasks. I want to show that I am way more than that, I can uphold the standards that makes our medical team the best. Will I make errors here and there? Yes, I am not ashamed to admit that. If I'm not making mistakes, then how will I grow? That is what holding oneself accountable means to me and I think I can spread that mindset and standard across the department.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
If I had to choose one it would be the physical evaluation. I personally enjoy doing physical evals simply because of how much fun it can be. Most would probably just ask the basic questions then ask the patient to give them a number for their board. I personally like to have fun with it. Sure I'll ask the questions, but I'm not just reading, I'm talking to my patient. I'll never forget talking to one of my patients and his whole thing was that he loved drinking Madame Boe's Tea. It was a great time. As for the physical portion I stick with the rolls. I pray for something good and hope for nothing bad. Typically it leads to some pretty funny RP situations. Then when it's all said and done I finish up the document, prescribe any medication the patient needs, then upload it into the SCIPR net. I could go into a deep dive of every medical procedure and describe my likes or dislikes. But if I had to choose I'd always go for a physical evaluation.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
A Medical Consultant holds a key role in running the medical department. They are the pillars of what make the medical team what it is. Consultants encourage proper ethics and procedures. They motivate others to work as a team even going as far as to collaborate with other departments. And on some heavy downtime they'll be there to just talk. Medical consultants aren't just leaders, they are people that most can just come around to for a quick chat or a pressing answer. Then there is the training portion. They are mentors, people you can run to in a pinch when you need it. It is because of these traits that the Medical department will always strive for greatness and be a safe haven for everyone to come around too within the facility.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
(Still waiting on my lore request to get approved. So this may change and when it does I will swiftly send out the update. I will treat this as if it did get approved.)
After all of Biff 'Fragment' Fraze's hard work he has finally reached a point where he can extend his hand to help others in different ways. He has shown great advancements and holds some notable achievements. Though not even this was enough to solve the conflict of his identity. This was only the beginning of finding his true self. Fortunately 'Fragment' is well adjusted to the idea of not being the original. So instead he is focusing on making his own origin. With the backing of his co-workers his future seems brighter than before. But, lurking beyond that brightness was still the question, "Am i the original? What do I do if I'm not?" Even with these lingering questions, he kept his chin held high. There are people that still need help and he will always be there when they need it. Little did he know his life was reaching it's turning point in that very moment. Isn't that right █████████ and █████████████?
